i got it last friday and i LOVE it’s already. i went fishing at a creek near me and caught a 10 inch bass with the Max-X. that was actually my first fish on the new combo.

You might be surprised! The 7' Medium Heavy casting combo is a great rod for predators like Pike and Char.

@@AbuGarciaTV I've got a few rods to do reviews on so maybe I'll give one a shit one day, a pike is a pretty aggressive test for a rod which is why I like doing them. Once the ice is gone the next is actually the 6'9" Veritas PLX MH 2 piece which will be the first Abu I've reviewed. Just a toss up of throwing a diawa, Shimano, or 13 fishing on it or getting an Abu reel to test with the rod 🤷

I recently bought this combo but it’s the spinning reel combo and I can’t find the anti-reverse knob anywhere on the reel and I love the rod and how it looks and even how it works but the reel just gets tangled when I put line on it because I can’t find the anti-reverse switch so the reel is going counterclockwise if you could please help that’d be awesome
