The original still has its place and usefulness. I use it on vacation pool side or at a brunch or breakfast. I use it for after the gym and have to go food shopping. Leave the house to run two or three errands and I am throwing on a sweatsuit and sneakers. The Original will forever be in my collection.

What are they counting on to drive sales? That people will run out faster and rebuy? Many wont be buying this just because the bottle is too small. What happened to big robust presentations? For example aventus when first released was about $200 and came in a nice big solid 4 ounce bottle. The fragrance was also big and robust. Now these days they overprice, lower bottle sizes, make the fragrance weak...we need the personality in our products back.

Yesterday I went to a shop and tried both this and Adg Parfum. I had already tried the latter and I had a fond memory of it. Well, they both smelled like cheap shower gels, with the elixir being a little bit better. I don't know if it was the paper strip that fucked the whole thing but it was disappointing. On the contrary, I tried the new Le sel d'Issey and boy it smells good. Nothing revolutionary but definitely clean and marine, and the performance is crazy, today after a shower, many hands washes and 24h I can still smell it up close on my hand. Waiting for chaos to review that one as well. Ah and it's also quite economical, here in Europe it's 75€ 100ml in stores.
