Happy New Year everyone!!! We have a new addition to our farm family. A Serra Da Estrela mountain dog puppy! Only a couple of weeks old and already causing us loads of trouble! ❤
We are Ken & Gina and we left the UK in 2019 in search of a simpler life away from our office jobs and the hustle and bustle of the big city. We sold our house, left the UK and left the Rat race behind us to move to Portugal and buy a farm. We found an amazing farm in Castelo Branco Central Portugal where we have lived for the last two years.

Edmundo is gorgeous 😍. We have a puppy that was a similar weight at his age & is now 7 months & 40kg+. Watch out for your rattan furniture! Ours is wrecked.... He even ate a wallet, driving license, bank card, clothes, the list is endless, but we wouldn't be without him & he is already an amazing guard dog ( German shepherd mixed with American Akita)

Oh my gosh. Edmundo is so adorable. I know all about parvovirus. So scary. I had a puppy did what yours did and vet said puppies frequently do that on first night away from their prior home…all of the changes. So glad he’s doing so good now.

A woman I've been watching for years got a new pup last year and she found that by keeping dry food in her pocket, she could reward the dog every time she did as she was asked . Over time, the bribery was no longer necessary and the dog just minds as she knows what the rules are. Sounds as though Eddie would learn well that way too. Whatever method you employ, I'm certain the other dogs will forgive you (perhaps you can give them a treat when you catch them being nice to Eddie) and all of them will become friends. Congratulations on your lovely puppy and may you have many wonderful years together. Happy New Year to you two and to all your critters! Your channel is a joy to watch.

I had the same parvo problem with my dogs. Both my now 130 lb Pyrenees had it at 6 weeks. Had a really good vet service that saved both of them. Sometimes puppies do this at separating from their mothers. Adding a puppy changes the pack. Happy new year!
