Thank you so much for the research and info on the prototype. I have a few of these models as they are my favorite Swiss model. I have changed the Canton shield as some of the models the decal was cracked or half gone. There should be a decal sheet under the foam inside the box with all 26 Cantons. I believe the first 26 Loks had the extra chrome that this model has, latter models dropped the chrome bands as shown in your photos of actual engines.

When I started modelling in 1954 the Fleischmann A/E 6/6 was my second purchase and I had to build my own catenary system.
