Haha!!! Love it! That looks like an awesome setup brother! You know we all thought it would have a motor! I've decided that I want to get a smaller dualsport for some of the Back Country Discovery Routes here....probably the Honda CRF 300l Rally. My legs burned just watching that little clip.

I’m still doing motorbikes. 👍🏻. The Honda would be a great little bike.

@@jjsadv Oh, I knew you weren't giving up the motorbike! The Honda...yeah, I'm getting too old to pick up that big Tiger when it decides to take a nap! haha Keeping the Tiger though.

Nice set-up mate, big job ahead though, crawl , walk, run and saddle fitness. Thank you for all you do, I look forward to your training regime and can foresee some epic adventures on the horizon.

An interesting new direction. I am curious to see where you decide to explore on the bike because I have copied some of your Wheatbelt/Goldfields motorbike and 4WD trips with great results. I rode the Munda Biddi end to end over June so I recommend you give that a go - I am sure you would love it and have a lot of fun. I did it on a hardtail mountain bike and think it would be a bit more difficult on a gravel bike although plenty of fitter (than me 😆) riders do it on gravel bikes. I used flat pedals as I think there could be a bit of a risk of knee injury with clip ons. The packing set up I used was bags from Restrap which I was very happy with. Just be sure to properly protect your frame with tape of some sort where you attach the bags as the constant movement and grit can make a real mess of things as I discovered. Good luck - looking forward to your future adventures.

Nice one. I love cycling. Used to do it a lot but hurt my pelvic floor. Hope to get back on one day.

I wouldn't be as keen as you are living in a city! i'd love to see more of this. (y).

I have options. I just drive out to my farm and head bush from there. My first challenge is getting fit. I am pretty fit anyway but riding uses new muscles. And you need endurance.

When I saw the thumbnail I instantly thought he’s gone and bought a T7. Keen to see where that new bike takes you.

T7 is on the radar for the KLR replacement.. This one won't take we that far, at least at any sort of decent pace :)

I wasn't expecting that! Looks nice though, I used to like mountain biking until I discovered adventure bikes, now only my ass hurts :)

How are you fairing with clipless pedals
@jjsadv2 жыл бұрын
No problem, I had them before.. Im not sure about muddy, or real sandy tracks though.. I think being clipped in might not be so good in this situation.. I will have to see when that time comes.
