ICCH: We just missed each other. Me and my stepson biked that the Sycamore/Top Shelf trail last Tuesday afternoon. I was in town for a work conference and brought the bike along. That would of been cool to of crossed paths with you.., maybe one of these days. We did not come across a single person while on the trail, (right at 8 miles) That was my first dirt diking trail and I loved it. The backpack seem to pass the test alright, we did miss the swimming hole, I will remember that,. it would of felt nice for it was over 100 out when we were biking that, it was warm. Crazy how you can be in the city and bam instantly you are on a great trail. I did make a vid of that trail, you'll have to check it out.. The week before was in your sort of neck of the woods area and did a local attraction there in Boone. Good to see a video from you my friend, love the video!!! and as always keep on getting Out of the House !!!!

Hey sorry for the late reply. You should deff go back and look for that swimming hole, it was a really neat place. Also unique, rarely see a place like that. I agree with you on the interesting ability for the trail to transition from city to nature. I thought it was odd how a place that felt so secluded could be so close to the city
