So I guess we ll be farming over in the Davidson, Sk. area which is around 225km West of the north farm but still 400km north of the south farm. Not sure how long we ll be here but will forsure be a few years.

Congratulations on the new ground. I bought a "new to me" tractor last month to add to my operation. A 4000 Ford made in roughly 1970. She starts right up and has 0.00 electronics! Only 1/10th the horsepower of your tractor though. :(

I am curious about your landlords in that area-are they mostly institutional investors, retired farmers, absentee family members from a formerly farming family, or another group? What are rental rates around there? (and land prices) Your rocks do look lonely out there, we generally put ours in piles so they don't get lonely, then eventually bury them. It sure looks a lot different than midwestern US corn and soybeans.

Those poles are in an easement for the power company, you would have to get permission from them unless they have given up their easement.

I would recommend sitting that yellow thing on blocks at the rear That’s a lot of weight for those four small bars to handle especially bouncing down the road. I’m not 100% how it lowers but I believe it would be easy to do and well worthwhile

Yes. In a lot of saskatchewan things have gotten drier the last number of years, sloughs have dried up, the rivers are lower. We have sloughs in west central sask that are dry now that have had water for 25 years

You should almost have a look at the K-line/ case speedtiller. They seem to do alot more even job not leaving ridges underneath the surface. They even seem to built even heavier. Just something to consider. I was very impressed how they are built when looking into upgrading our unit
