That flower location... Use the new pillars and the glass blocks. Have a base "floating" above the field of flowers with transparent floors to admire them. Think thats what i'll work on first.

I've gone for an island near the waterfall at -656, 267 and -639, 271 as put 2 palboxes together and it has 2 Oil things you can extract from.

5:00 is a Shinto shrine complete with a shrine gate (torii), which means it's a sacred place. Building a base there might have some spiritual repercussions.

The huge mushroom wall also has two oil nodes, which are important starting at level 50. That's where I plan to build my next base, it's very majestic. I probably won't have the base intersect with the mushrooms since pals won't need to go there. I might build some stuff on them since I have deterioration turned off.

You can use pillars to build foundations virtually anywhere. Also you can turn up xp gain in world settings so you don’t have to grind as much to enjoy the late game

I wish we could make like mini spots. Imagine if we had 5 mini bases (where they can't be teleported to) that would allow for one pal and some buildings to be placed so we could make standalone houses and stations for pals instead of a huge base. That would make it so much easier to use these beautifull areas that don't have enough space for full bases.

The location, which you thought was a town... Is not a town! It's a Shinto shrine location. This place is holy and marked by the tori gate. I will absolutely remember this place and buils close to it!

This is not relative to your video here but I don't know if you're ever looking for other game suggestions and I don't know if you played this BUT I recently started playing Sun Haven on Steam which is like Stardew but imo SO much BETTER. It has a fantasy component which makes it so fun. If you're looking for a cozy farm game with a little pizazz check it out! I think you'd like it! I've already spent so much time in a matter of days 😅

Well ........ TBH, it's not worth making a base on those trees sight....... Because any LUMBERING pal would just, cut those trees off..... Sure you can make them stop lumbering, but then you would have to " deal " with the raids by your own, becuz pals would just destroy the area first before enhilating the raid ...... And there's that metroit event, that actually can, get shower near your base with a boss that would destroy your base, those trees and all of your structure before you even get there, that's kinda frustrating 😑😑😑👍

Actually I read in the patch notes that now you can assign pals to specific structures via the monitoring stand. So you could assign a lumbering pal specifically to a logging pit for wood and then just disable lumbering for any other pal on base that has that capability.

The game is still pre release, no game does big updates with new biomes, dungeons, bosses, raids, enemies and content, things to add to collections and cosmetics without charging. This isn't a full game or DLC, and they are already giving us new areas to be occupied in for free while they continue to refine the project. Pretty dam, awesome, I'd say.

The base game is at 0.3, I doubt they're already thinking of DLC. What they seem to be doing is adding new islands to fill in the parts of the map where there's nothing but empty ocean for miles.
