Been speaking to a few officers especially ex cops and its sad how much they have to work. Seen and heard of officers being told last minute they need to do a 12+ hour shift or extend from their current shift. One told me he had been told that he had to do an extra several hours on top of his shift which made it 16 hours.

Do you believe REALLY that registration recognition will do the trick when real criminals just clone other peoples registrations and i know as i got hassled for weeks by the authorities for parking and speeding tickets because my registration had been copied. Labour cut the services and release the criminals and what do you expect.

Another part of the issue is it wasn't just 20,000 police officers sacked, it was tens of thousands of police staff as well. Staff who would help the police officers handle investigations, paperwork, speaking with things like courts and the CPS. The support staff who'd help police and lessen their workload after an arrest so they can get back onto the streets. Nowadays, when a police officer makes an arrest, they've not got that support staff so they're locked behind a desk for longer. So it's all well and good hiring 20,000 new officers, but they're still spending most of their time locked behind a desk because hiring 20,000 police officers sounds better than hiring 40,000 police staff.
