Each year, the City of New Albany applies to the State of Indiana for matching grant funds to help pave and improve roadways throughout the city. Since 2015, the city has milled, top coated, and rehabilitated over 75 miles of city streets. This year, with the help of American Rescue Plan funding, we were able to repair more streets and more sidewalks, and even make improvements in the stormwater system.
Infrastructure improvements improve the quality of life for our residents, families, business owners, and those who have chosen to make New Albany their home.
