I once lived in an apartment building on Floyd street, that was once a single residence. It had been converted into apartments. I had an extremely terrifying paranormal experience, in that building.

Could U maybe elaborate a little for me? I’m an “out of towner” & for 14 years I’ve been pretty much isolated here in Louisville due the the strange energy that I feel here. Maybe U could shed some light on this subject for me. Thanks in advance…

@@maclac48 where are you from? And how long have you been here? The land, most of it was heavy Iroquois, Cherokee and Shawnee Native American Tribes before it was Kentucky. Kentucky is actually from Iroquois. The original Iroquois word is ken-tah-ten and it means "Land of tomorrow". So, when the Indians were so violently pushed out of their HOMELAND. When their homes and their habitat was ripped from them, I believe they maybe cursed some, not all, of the land.. Which, who could blame them. I don't. Also, there are lots and lots of Native American burial grounds and mounds here too. Which, naturally brings supernatural presences here. Millions and millions of years ago, during the (Devonian) Paleolithic Era, Kentucky was covered by shallow tropical seas. Although some lands may have been dry at times in what became central Kentucky. So, Kentucky's first human inhabitants were descendants of prehistoric people who migrated from Asia over an artic land bridge to North America even as long as 30,000 years ago. The earliest prehistoric Native "Indians" made stone and wooden hunting tools. So, they have left many and much energy and have trekked the land of Kentucky for longer than most places.. Kentucky is a central location of the United States, as well and therefore has been walked and discovered for so many years and all of these peoples stories, their energies, their ancestors energies, have been imprinted on our soil, in our hills, in the bluegrass, on the mountains and in the trees, stored for us all to feel these thousands of years later. Because of the central location, in more recent times there were lots of Hospitals, Army bases, hotels, motels, etc. Therfore Kentucky teems with Spirits.

@@CountessKitten Thank U for your response, I truly appreciate it. To answer your question I’m from Cleveland Ohio, & I have been raised to respect people on a case by case basis. I understand what U were saying about the different Native American spirits who may or may not be resting in peace. That dug the hole even deeper than I was thinking because I was thinking about the many atrocities committed by white Kentucky residents against my people….African Americans. Your response is a reminder to me that we are not the only people on this earth who have suffered in one way or the other. The history of this land, that once again I am thankful for U sharing with me, is very enlightening to say the least.

My family owned a home on the corner of northwestern pkwy in front of the flood wall, and it was haunted as all get out. The house dated back to the first decade of 1900 and it had several ghost in residence.

I'm almost convinced houses can become possessed like humans can be. It struck me funny when the lady said, We don't own these houses we just live here. They have a life of their own.

We live on 1300 block of 1st Street and our home is haunted. On one occasion we heard a wooden ball bouncing in our foyer right outside our entry door. We heard the ball bounce again and roll against the door making a distinctive clunk sound when it hit the door bottom. We opened the door immediately and to our surprise there was NOTHING there on the floor and nothing in the foyer that could make the sound of that wooden ball!! We believe it is the ghost of a playful child who may have grown up in our Vi torian house that was built in 1890. Then one night, several months later, around 11 O'clock, my husband and I were sitting around our dining table having coffee when outside we heard a loud, plaintive call that sounded like a large wolf. I asked my husband had he heard that call and he immediately answered: yes! As we were discussing it the low, plaintive call sounded again!!! As we are in the middle of Old Louisville, God knows what we heard; we certainly do not@!!😮😮😮😮

Jesus said: and you shall know the truth , and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32 Demons are evil spirits . Jesus is the Only One who overcame them at the cross . When a person dies, he or she goes to one of two places , heavens with Jesus if he/she was a a Christian , or hell , if not . The wandering ghost is a myth to make money deceiving the ignorant . The rest is superstition.
