Hey Ramsha! I was wondering how early can you schedule your medical before your interview? I heard you are supposed to schedule 2 weeks before interview, is that correct? Or can you schedule 1-2 months before your interview?

You can schedule is as soon as you receive the interview letter. Some times the inter ke letter comes 1 month before interview, sometimes 2 weeks. So good practice is to schedule it soon so you get it out of the way

Just go to a government hospital and ask them for a polio certificate. They will know how much dose do u need and they will give u drops and issue you a certificate. Take that to your medical. Incase of any confusion call directly to the place you booked for your medical and confirm with them too.

Hello my medical is completed on 14th March but I got an issue in x-ray and my further process is also started which is sputum smear and culture test on. 22nd March I done my interview at Mumbai embassy but they gave me a letter which is section 221 (g) under incomplete medical so what is the future process once my medical is done how much time embassy will take to contact me back to issue my visa ?

Your medical should be clear before interview. You have to take mentioned tests and once its done embassy can reschedule your interview. For Pakistan I know sputum test takes 8 to 10 weeks and then they send results to embassy and they reschedule your interview.

Requirements are same: that you need to prove you are real couple who plan to live together in USA and start a life. No special requirements for male, but they do tend to put males in more administrative processing than females we have seen. The only way to prevent that is to have strong documentation, upload updated I-864 forms on NVC before interview, and have everything in order during the interview. Good luck
