*NEW ALLOCATION* & Terrible iBus | Wrightbus GB Kite EV on Route E7 - [1705e] LV73FHB

Hello Everyone, today's upload is of the new allocation of the E7. The E7 is operated by Transport UK. It was using 2016 Enviro200MMC's, but then they moved from Armstrong Way [GW] to Fulwell [TF] Garage onto the 490. This is a rubbish change in my opinion because E7 didn't need new buses at all. The YX16's were alright and good enough to last for another 7 years on the route. If anything, Abellio could've just given it a short 3 year contract with those MMC's. This is a bad move in my opinion because the front is covered. Also, this route should be double decked. If not, at least in the rush hours or at least 1-2 DD's a day like the 206. Also, the ibus sounds on this was terrible.
These buses suit E6 more and better. This bus was first tested at Fulwell [TF] Garage on route R70.

E7 still uses E200 MMCs but yeah the kites are the main normal allocation tho, I once caught an E7 operating on an E200

Nice video 👍 Electric buses are so s**t!!! Same I agree. idk y they're electrifying routes that already use hybrids (and 15/above vehicles) like E7 or 4/90/113. They should be looking to do so for those that still have old vehicles. RANT!!! They(Khan and TFL) are ruining the vehicles that most of us have grown up with. I still miss those LK59 ex- first VWs on 83 and it will get electrified😢. I also miss the Plaxton Presidents, old Enviro400s, bendy buses and Gemini 1s. Soon they're gonna withdraw the most goated vehicles from the past decade because of ULEZ restrictions. I hope you can relate with what I'm saying.

Thank You Very Much! I agree, but some are quite nice. I just think they need to relax on the amount of electric buses they are introducing into London. Yes, I believe that all buses that are younger than 2013/14, do not need electrics. I can relate with your rant. I agree with what your saying because it is true!

I agree. The EVs don’t suit the E7. Look funky and ugly on them. It didn’t need that change

Yes, very true! It could have got Optare MetroCity Buses (like the ones on the E5), but larger!
