These little kits are adorable. My favorite is the kitty. I’m a huge cat lover, I have 6 of my own. I’ve never done amigurumi but I would like to try. Thank you for sharing these Glenda. 🧶💜🙏🏻

I was wondering if it had cats. I'm a crazy cat lady. However I only have 2. I'm pushing it by having 2 at my apartment. I'd have 6 if I could. The 2 I have are special needs and vets are expensive so it's probably for the best I stick with just my 2. They have already wiped out my savings. I'm not dropping $10 on the kit though. I can get the yarn at the dollar tree and the pattern online for free or a whole (used) book of patterns on Amazon for like $10 or less. They have books dedicated just for cat amigurumi, knitting, and crochet. Or the library could have books for free and you just take pic on your phone and work from there or copy and print the patterns you want. I'd want to make cats that look like mine (a fire-point siamese and a striped tortoise shell.) A single color pattern isn't going to work.

Meh. I could get a used book from Amazon for $10 or less and yarn in the right colors from the dollar tree or from my stash. I don't think it's worth it.

I already know how to do amigurumi, but I still like reasonably priced amigurumi kits. I have gotten some in the past and the yarn is decent but the hook isn't as small as I like. But I appreciate getting new hooks with each kit! I have never made amigurumi with a #1 yarn, but I use this size hook for my #4 yarn amigurumi😂 I like this better than the Woobles, because that yarn is more like rope than yarn. $15 seems a bit high, but like you said that is Yarnspirations price. Walmart will have it cheaper. I think the stuffing alone would probably be $3, the yarn maybe $1, pattern we could round up to $3 and hooks rounded up to $3 for a total of $10.

My favorite is the kitten. I just had some from a cat here. They are 3 days old. I doubt the shelter here will take them . 3 little yellow ones. I liked the elephant too. I believe it was an elephant in there. I guess the Walmart price wasn’t to bad considering the prices on everything. They do give you everything you need and it would be a good way to learn amigurumi ❤

Thanks for the video, Glenda, there's nothing more annoying than getting home and finding out there's something wrong with what you've bought! I never buy the kits, personally, I think they are too expensive for what you get and I have heard so many people complain that they have run out of yarn before they have finished. For those that want to learn how to do amigurumi, look through the tutorials, here on YT and use your money to buy a bunch of cheap yarns to practice with. Just my personal opinion, it's whatever you are happiest with that's important, personal preference xxx

Wow, a friend who has another channel she said hers are 7.00, mine I paid 9.99 for. I suppose their charging different prices for each Walmart. Which I do not agree with that all prices should be the same 17 dollars is crazy over priced for something like this. Honestly I wasn't too found of 9.99 but I figured it comes with a crochet hook and a yarn needle which is a plus.
