Loved that neutral look and while I had not been excited about this palette your looks with it are awesome and I am going to pick it up. The wig looks like hair. You looked quite like yourself after the makeup went on. No one would know if you had not said. Hang in there my friend.

Would definitely recommend it but need to check the water levels with the hot weather as the one following us couldn’t make the complete journey as levels were too low, Just about over covid now and hope you are too. Hi Ange I'm sorry to hear you've also had to cope with Covid on top of everything else, but I hope you're recovering and feeling better. All the chemo knocked out your immune system unfortunately and it's bad luck you came into contact with someone carrying it, despite having been so careful. Onto the eyeshadow palette - it is a pretty palette and of all the ABH palettes this is probably the one I like the look of most. The soft greens, that stunning lilac and the peacock blue all look fab, but the peach, gold and most especially the orange will not look good on my skintone. That cuts out a full third (as the brown would only work for me as a liner) of the palette, leaving about eight or occasionally nine shades I would use. I just can't justify the cost of it for the remaining shades and probably won't be buying it tbh. I don't own an ABH palette for this reason - they're all quite warm toned with some of them having a few cooler pops of colour. I thought the colours were all pretty on you and my favourite was the soft greens - looked great with your brown eyes and the colour of the wig. I have a palette with pretty greens in it and plan on buying the Viseart lavande quad, which I think has a similar looking lilac shade (each of the four shades in that are shades I would wear). The quad is less than half the price of the ABH palette and is a better value for ME. I'm glad you love it though and it's working really well for you. The wig is cute and probably lighter feeling than the longer styles you've been trying lately. I do like the last one better, but I can see the practicality of this one and it looks nice on you. As always Lorraine I love hearing from you xx. You will be pleased to know I finished my last day of radiation today 🤗🤗. The hard stuff is done. Time for my body to start recovering. Covid hit me hard and I had three weeks off work - thank goodness two weeks were school holidays but I was able to continue my treatment. I am looking forward to healing and gaining my mojo back. Still looking for “the” wig. I may have found it I need a couple of days to decide. I like this one for maybe everyday easy to wear for work and not get in the way sort of wig. I like the colour too. @@angelastuartbeauty Congratulations on completing the radiotherapy - that's fab. I really hope you can indeed focus on regaining some health and recovering. There have been so many traumas to the body these last few months - major surgery, chemo, radiation and then Covid on top. This is a time to focus on that recovery and the exhaustion all this has caused. Sometimes whilst all the treatment is going on it's like lurching from one crisis to another, so you may find this part of your journey harder from an emotional standpoint. In this part where it's about recovery the mindset of go go go and best it, can be replaced with reaction to what has gone before. Don't be surprised if you feel tearful or overwhelmed. x
