6:00 isekai shine in one way above most other anime, and that is in world building. It's the perfect story telling tool to have a main character who knows nothing about the world they have come to. The audience and the character learn the world together in a way that "works." The alternative is really really good story writing, something that most animes lack. This is one reason Frieren beyond journey's end is so good, the world building is delivered in a way that mirrors an isekai... without the change in worlds. When people say they like isekais, I think most actually like how they deliver the story, worldbuilding, and character development, not the concept of waking in a new world itself.

Yeah, Zenshuu is great. We’re also getting 3 classic magical girls with a musical theme (You and Idol Precure, Princession Orchestra, and Maebashi Witches), and there’s a yuri rocker show that has bdsm themes apparently(?) called Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite. There’s also a romance/sci-fi called Kowloon Generic Romance that looks really interesting and is done in a style similar to 90s animation, and I’m planning to check that out.

Not sure if it will be this year but Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, it's going to in my opinion start a revolution of Manwha where the main character is transported to a book I'm hoping we get the greatest estate developer, trash of the counts family, the crown prince sells medicine (takes place in the same universe as greatest estate but is like 100 years in the future or so), ouu and the novels extra. All amazing

I don’t know if you’ve read Sakamoto Days but it becomes a lot more action focused. The slice of life comedy fades away as the series goes on and I really hope it gets animated to a really high standard at that point. Very excited for it though!

This video was being edited before the show was out. I was going off of the trailers and various synopsis' that very much implied her death was going to be due to overwork. So it's a case of a shows marketing being somewhat misleading. 😭

I dont like the way anime is heading to. Only what I see people hyped are very action packed anime series. What I trully want is amazing narrative and emontion packed story witch only Mushoku Tensei and Oshi no Ko 2 from popula shows previous year was able to do. It might sound as a hate, but it isnt, i like highly packed action but it doesnt hit the same as amazing narrative

@@SamuelBlackMetalRider Im watching it from the start, 24 minutes per week is hard to satisfy me compared to the previous years 😭 As a atheist in the most religious country in Europe witch series is also based on (Poland) this series is literally created for me. It touches on topics that are close to my heart. Forcing faith, striving for truth and the meaning of existence. If not Mushoku Tensei this would be my anime of the year but the best anime years for me were between 2021 and 2023 so many amazing shows like Zom 100, Heavenly Delusion, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Oshi no Ko, Vivy, Mushoku Tensei, Tomodachi Game, Made in Abyss, Shield Hero AoT season 4 part 3 not counting other amazing series that I watched from backlog (for example entire AoT from Wit)
