$80 per month is a bargain. Roosters are part of the Philippine landscape. Get use to it.

It’s funny why it’s so typical to have the bathroom next to the kitchen. Rarely, do they have exhaust fans. Many homes will have an opening through the wall that enters the kitchen. Bon appétit.

Definitely worth the money. CR needs upgrades and would have been nice if they built a hole in the wall for an aircon to be mounted though. Split aircon might be easier to install but a huge pain to remove and transfer when you move out.
@MrSteven59753 жыл бұрын
Split AC is actually better
@davidnasello56903 жыл бұрын
I would definitely install a hot water shower fixture but they are relatively inexpensive and easy to install.

Glad your friend will be getting into the apartment! I guess if you wanted to "hook up" the bathroom you could do it with a shower curtain(s) and some other stuff if ur creative !Love the color scheme in the apartment! It's amazing how quiet it is with the street closed! Is it possible to make a suggestion to the powers that be or barangay captain to see if they can close down the street permanently and make it just pedestrian friendly? Just an idea or dream for you!that would be amazing!!!

I always wondered why "completed" units still need modifications such as a proper shower and toilet. Don't think I would want the aggravation, although they do look well built.
@paulz64913 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the great video, I appreciate the update on the apartment! What would be a reasonable budget to replace the toilet add a shower, stove, fridge and an air conditioner? (For $80 a month rent I’d be more than happy to buy these things for the apartment 😊)

LOL, I think you’re going to need a lot of money to buy up all the roosters on that block. 🐔 Personally, I think cockfighting is a major religion to the average Filipino. I’ve seen poor folks save up for years just to buy a particular breed. I’ve actually been to an arena and it’s just like the floor of the stock market where people are yelling bets, odds, and markers with hand gestures, which is a language of its own.
@MrSteven59753 жыл бұрын
I live here and it’s not that bad. I’ve seen homes with 30 roosters.

You mentioning that the guy started renting this one months before he's even makes want to rent the $70 one you just showed even though I'm years away from getting there and you could let guys who get there before me stay there until they find a place and maybe work with you to fix it up when it's not occupied so that it'd be finished if/when I get there
@walleye3643 жыл бұрын
many people don't like roosters. My neighbor use to have a couple and make the other neighbors mad. It never bothered me. I like the roosters call. It makes me feel like I am in the country. I don't know. I'd rather have rooster out back I think, Rather than traffic or human sounds and honking horns.
