Ross, I like how you answer questions right on the screen that everyone can read. I agree, headlamps make it feel close to being there of the mining. Good idea!! Be safe! Thanks so much

The idea of the time men took to carve these tunnels into a mountain by hand boggles the mind. Thanks 👍

Very true. That’s the point of preserving it-to show this generation and future ones what those folks did.

Ross, very interesting work. I appreciate your efforts to preserve these historical mine sites. Over the years I've seen many of these mine sites badly deteriorating due to neglect, vandalism and looting. Good job!

That is amazing support structure, and I agree, I wasn't aware that anything good came from Delaware (I see what you did there)!

That is hilarious, I didn’t think anything good came from Delaware. Lol.

The timber support area has so much wood. Just think how long that took to receive from other parts of the country and then carry all of that in those tiny spaces. Amazing and interesting! How would they know where to build the support areas verses other areas?

The clips of the nice old timbers could come in handy when trying to think of where they are when you need them. Some sort of inventory beats a lot of head scratching.

It's going to be a beautiful example of a working mine. Still gives me me A## knowing that a lot of equipment is over the border though. It's our history. And the antiquities act was completely ignored. Not cool. Let's hope that something can be done to get our history back where it belongs.

If you’re talking about the guy who trespassed into both my property and a friend’s neighboring mine in Nevada and stole things from both of us, the answer is yes. If you talk to him tell him he needs to come back and surrender on the warrants.

When you already know the antiquities act there's no excuse for ignoring it. There's a lot of our history that's been pilfered. Because the old equipment up in those soaking wet mines is rusted junk. So just hop over the border and grab whatever you find. Not cool.
