It’s the actual Grant. The other shaft is a War Eagle extension up through the claim. We finally got down it. You’ll love it.

Ross I enjoyed watching you descend down the ladder into the shaft exploring more you've not seen before I can only imagine the countless amount of time men worked digging/blasting creating the ladder and how much value they removed from the earth. Be & Stay Well my friend. :)

Mr. Ross, whatever kind of minerals or ore it is, it sure has beautiful colors. What did they mine down there exactly. I am so glad that you started the video showing your face, because you going down there scares the heck out of me. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)

That vertical shaft and the flimsy ladder were scary. It looked like there were still some minerals down there but I guess it wasn't worth digging back in the day. Cuidado, senor!

I'm am quite surprised by all those colors on the walls of the mine. Some questionable carpentry practices but they did what they could. It doesn't look too safe. As Wonderhussy would comment, "gee Ross your always bragging about how dangerous your shaft is!"

The use of rock climbing ropes and safety equipment may eliminate disrupting the historic value while providing more movement options. Teamwork is the most important part that you are doing.

So by your narration, you seem to have some previous experience in underground mining. You know the terminology. Can you tell us more about your past and experience underground? Keep up the good work, and be very careful down there!

No real mining history, per se just a lot of history and I learned from reading, doing and talking to people who did. I’ve been blessed with help from some of the most knowledgeable people in the field out here and I’m always learning.

What are those minerals… what was the original target of the miners that dug this mine, and what other minerals would be profitable to mine there ? Have you ever used a black light down there?
@tecopamines3 ай бұрын
These mines were originally sunk to chase veins of silver, lead, and iron, but they also found zinc, copper, tin and even gold in small amounts.

husband speaking You have to give the old miners a lot of credit for crawling down into the earth day after day to dig out whatever for the companies. The owners sit high and dry and the poor men risk their lives daily - no thank you - kind of like our police situation, risking their lives daily for what ?
@tecopamines3 ай бұрын
Yeah, it was tough work, but these mines gave a lot of opportunities to people looking to get started in America after they cleared Ellis Island.
