It’s more than likely not anyone that’s actually from Armani. All these weird rebranding and reformulations didn’t start until L’Oréal acquired Armani. Same thing happened to Prada, Valentino, and Mugler. YSL, Azzaro, and Ralph Lauren are also under L’Oréal.

I've noticed new testers of swy Intensely in ulta beauty's near me recently. I sprayed one on, despite having smelled it prior, and I noticed it smelled prettt different from what I remember. It's more simplified and less sweet, more smokey. If I did actually smell the new formulation, it's not a huge difference.

May I ask what month you have? I recently bought one and it has arrived with an April 2024 batch code, 38Y401K, and I am just trying to figure out if its the old formation before I open it, because I won't want it if it is indeed the 2024 reformulation. Any help greatly appreciated. 🙂

@@tishondavis8097 so I did some more digging on this. Batch code may not be enough as perhaps they were making both at the same time. I picked up a 100ml bottle from Macys batch code shows June 2024 and it is darker than the newer version. I have only seen the newer in the 50ml from Sephora as of 2 weeks ago. The Ingredients List is the same on both boxes. I compared the old to the new and definite difference the toffee is removed and chestnut is added.

So theres a high chance that the newer version is only in 50ml at the moment then? well my April 2024 bottle is actually a 100ml bottle. The armani website (AU) doesn't seem to show any difference and even a few days ago I've tested it in store and it's still the old version. No one in the armani boutique seems to have a clue about this reformulation either so who really knows what's going on

I’m interested in the brioni, I have all of them and I enjoy them. My only issue with them is they lack the longevity, more in the moderate range 4-6 hours. But the scents are fantastic, will look into this new one and get a decant.

I can tell you the chestnut accord was already in the Original Intensley. It always been, the true original GA writing always mentioned it if anyone of you ever thought to look out the website back then. Wherever you found this first writing wrote it himself, that is not written by Armani nor am corporate marketing agency. Additionally it always wondered me why in America people think Intensley has toffee. It never did officially, but well Parfumo, ifragrance and fragrantica and the other (third-party) websites aren't reliable sources😂

I smelled the new Tumi last week. A hard pass for me. TBF, I also tried 19 Degree then , for the 3rd time, and remain absolutely underwhelmed by it as well. The bottles are outstanding. The fragrances, sadly, are not--in any way. I doubt I'd buy them at half their asking prices.

Armani Beauty (L'Oréal) should've left this alone or discontinued it. Changing it & naming it the same thing if it smells very different is a bit sneaky. From the listed notes, if they have really added chestnut and dropped the toffee & cinnamon, they should've named it "Stronger With You Eau de Parfum" rather than Intensely.
