@@Semtex895 I reckon a map set in the Highlander's mountainous island chain that's hinted at in the lore for the vikings. Could have some of the gaelic type architecture for a fort or village or even have it spare with lone cairn stones and windswept uplands/hilly area. Be so mintus in my opinion

Solid armor drop. Been looking forward to cleaner, no gold sets for the Knights. Plenty of people bitching that theres no skull mask spiked armor with forced gold trim everywhere as usual lol.

Damn it! It generally looks good, but I was hoping for a clean version of Centurion's lorica segmentata sets. They all either have rusty metal, or dusty capes. I adore Kensei, Kyoshin and Orochi's sets, though. In fact, all the Samurai seem to be getting very nice armors. Hopefully the red can take paint patterns, though. Otherwise it'll be a tad too monchrome for my liking.

I suspect at least some of it will, like nobus coat, last time she had a coat with that much color it had a perfect paint coating (not chips) outside of stuff like that though probably not.

I’m not mad, just sad because it means the year 3 heroes will never get their 4th set, and Ubisoft will continue to release reskins exclusively from now on like they were in year 5 and 6, but now, we get half as much as we used to.

For honor keeps getting better and better. hoping to have new permanent game modes in for honor. like maybe a moba style game mode with turrets and creeps? this game mode idea would be nice i think haha.

It makes them more versatile than a lot of armor we have gotten lately and is one of a small count of armor sets for knights with fixed whites. Same goes for the red on the samurai. I suspect that they will be very fun to mix and match with.

It sucks that that new Highlander armor set might be the last armor set for any of the heroes. They made it sounds like they aren’t releasing anymore armor sets. So I guess they are just going back to reskins only again.

Honestly this opens more doors than it closes. White can be really clean when paired with the right color combo and also it's finally something to mix with chimera. This is the good kind of baked color.

Define authentic. Color aside the fact that they are using metal instead of wood and that they are actually well kept makes them far more close to actual samurai armor now than they used to be.

Yea financially Ubisoft is on a "seven year low" as of Jan 12 2023. This year (stock wise) they are completely flat. Its possibly because in all of their games they are making reskinned crap like this. When I see stuff like this: I don't buy steel. Id imagine its the same in all their other properties. ​​@@hunterbrown205I can see the but I'd argue that giving new color synergy and wider material use (plus some things like warden having an actual half plate) are still good to get every now and then. Strong color demanding sets with lots of detail can be hard to mix and match, so simple, easier to incorporate sets like these can be a nice compliment to them.

How so. Yes they are simple, but simple just allows for more potential in mixed sets, something that the more detailed sets lack. I'd argue a release like this is a great compliment to the honesty of more common releases that bake on like 90% of your material.
