Can you developers understand that there should be both male and female variants for each character. I personally like using the male characters because it adds to the immersion and simply that I am a male. This character sounds annoying with her repetitive grunt. You guys are doing a good job with the updates but it can be so much more.

especially that from a historical point of view as said in my country which is France, "les développeurs du jeu ont chié dans la colle grave" knowing that in no case in history were the Varangian guards women, the Varangian guards were very good Norse mercenaries hired by Byzantine, Greek or Russian nobles to be at their service, (this is why we saw that they are armor and weapons unusual among the Norse, these are weapons offered by their employers) if they really wanted to make a female heroine there was a special caste among the Norse warriors who are the skjaldmo but that is too much to ask for ubisoft

Us guys have been called sexist or something stupid for wanting a non gender-locked character. For this character would've made more sense if it was male-locked as well. Pirate I wish they made more appealing to play even if it was just female but the design is absolutely crap. Ubisoft is always known to disappoint/anger the community. If FromSoft, CD project or any other indie had a hand at this game every problem this has would be resolved very quickly. Especially the predatory microtransactions riddled all over for emotes, heroes, armors, crates, executions, etc.

​Some of the gender-locked characters make sense like the Valkyrie, Shugoki, Medjay, etc. Valkyries are female warriors, Shugoki are pretty much Sumo wrestlers which is a male sport, and the new hero for some reason is female and the Varangian Guards are supposed to be male. Though it would also be nice if we had the option for this new character. They pretty much did like what they've done with Warmonger and gave all the cooler and heavier gear only to the female. 😑

They didn't. Look from 14:36 onwards, there are clearly Rus' inspired armors :) Even the standard issue is pretty Rus' based

They really didn't ignore anything here, the whole lore stuff we have to take into account that it's a different world than ours. There was a world ending event in the medieval ages that ruined everything. It'd feel weird if their lore was just a copy + paste Wikipedia page

@@forhonorupdates Why a woman when it’s an exclusively male unit? When will For Honor do something good, rather than stagnate without pseudo mediocrity? Lots of players stay but many leave, because of this pseudo mediocrity. The remaining players are literally in a pure toxic relationship with For Honor, between cheaters, spammers, etc... unpunished new products not really new and even more unique chain events and without soul new hybrid heroes, genderlock and completely abuse functionalities that disappear, and stupid things like replacing the male and female symbols for “variant 1 and 2”, if in the end it is just genderlock and not offering any other physical morphology And I could continue for a long time with all the problems of For Honor, at this stage, completely stop making For Honor survive, and make a For Honor 2 or another game with the For Honor systems, like a Star Wars with the gameplay from For Honor to lightsabers.

Please fix some of the issues left on lawbringer. His wallsplat does less than a normal GB punish. Just make it a top heavy unblockable please, kensei has a 34 damage wallsplat, or centurion getting 30 plus chain pressure but LB can't get 25 into chain. For God's sake please get rid of the top light not being enhanced and doing less damage for no reason, it's a relic of his old kit and hinders his opening capability. Other characters have all sides enhanced AND crushing counters its ridiculous. Also, please give back the heavy parry impale and just reduce the distance, otherwise impale is next to useless outside of very niche situations as again a wallsplat literally does less than normal GB damage, its more of a hinderance than anything currently as you can accidentally parry and try to side heavy. Seems ridiculous to me as you guys reduced warlords gb throw instead of completely nerfing it, also warmonger, centurion, and jiang jun all have the equivalent if you reduced the distance on LB impale. Please update the t1 stamina reducing feat because it was designed for way back when you lost stamina to being parried

I was an avid For Honor player, this game made my days better and I had a lot of fun playing it. Unfortunately I stopped abruptly when they started making heroes with a gender block, it takes away a lot from the personalization and identification of the characters. be less lazy and bring interesting heroes like the ones from year 4

I think it's a budget problem, For Honor doesn't make Ubi a lot of money. Almost every single thing in the game from skins to champion status can be earned through gameplay. The ONLY reliable source of monetization is the game's $10 battlepass. Compare this to R6 which not only has a playerbase 10x our size, but the skin packs and premium currency. Ubi just isn't gonna give For Honor the same attention because it's not as predatory to us players. I'd rather be drip-fed content than them adding a skin store tab.
