I enjoyed the Bob Marley movie. Just keep in mind it is not a documentary. It tells the last 13 years of his life. Ziggy was 13 years old when his Father died. This is what remembers about Bob. I don't want to give the story away. Have fun. 😊

I might have to check out some violent femmes, they are on the fantastic Let's go Dancing Said the Firefly to the Hurricane -a compilation celebrating the songs of Kevn Kinney. They cover Gotta Move On. There will be three or four vinyl albums and 99 digital released in this series!!!

Old Friends 4 Sale was a standard WB release, from his "play out the string" period. It's sneakily excellent though, with a mix of old vault tracks as well as songs originally composed for the aborted James L. Brooks musical. I think it works better than most odds-and-sods albums.

Any recommendations for outer sleeves that fit the recent releases of the Acoustic Sounds Series? I had been using the same sleeves for years and they fit no problem, they even fit the AP 45rpm releases. Recently, the Acoustic Sounds Series jackets seem to be a bit larger and do not fit in my sleeves. I even had the same issue with a couple recent Tone Poet titles.

I picked up the gil Scott, it’s good, but on the first track certainly his voice does sound quite muffled, not sure if that’s on the original. It’s good but not as good as Pieces of a Man. I’m really looking forward to RSD, do agree, I think they’ve picked up on feedback on the last couple, there do seem to be some very attractive items

Yeah I agree but it looks like people are buying up the series. I think the marketing strategy of offering the complete set primes some people to think they need them all too. I could see nice $32 33rpm issues being popular but it's surprising to see the hype around $60 45rpm issues on albums which are available all day for $10-$20.

99% of new releases do not interest me at all. I’m here for the moment Mike mentions MECHANICAL ANIMALS is getting a release in Europe and I manage to snag a copy through preorder before anyone else even knows about it. I appreciate those moments, Mike. Mike, my current grail hunt is focused on the MOANIN 45 RPM by AP. Any idea if that’s ever going to get a repress? Thanks!
