I’m testing notorious 6s springs since i had them laying around. Only needed 3 spacers in the front and 4 in the rear. Setup runs pretty good with being stiffer and a good in between for bashing.

If you run out of spacers Earl You could try some say like 5/6mm zip ties 😊

Hi Earl, as I already own 2 Mojave 6s, the 4s looks good but I went for the new Tekno SCT as I want a truck that has great handling , I will also turn my secound Mojave into the New Big Rock 1/7 once parts become available on Jenny's RC. I also have been working on some old Team Durango vehicles and can't wait to run them next year...still the biggest release for 2023 Losi Promoto .

Thanks! I was trying to figure out the proper spring rates for replacement on these. On the Arrma site they have the lbs/inch ratings as well as the nm/cm rating. Do you think making a dual rate spring stack per shock may work? Like a short/stiff infraction, Limitless, or Felony spring for jumps paired with a longer plush spring for bumps? Just use two of those spring hats in between the two springs with one inverted to prevent binding.

Go with stiff springs all the way around and adjust with spacers and oil weight…

You went 6.09lb 85mm front and mentioned maybe going 4lb rear instead of the 3.65lb you demoed. No option for 4lb springs, Next closest option I see is 5.4lb for the rear. Would this be too stiff you think? Or if you went 6.91lb front and 5.4lb rear is another option I see to keep more of a difference front to back..Sorry for all the questions new to the hobby .

Heavier the spring the less traction the softer the more traction you get. All arrmas have harder front springs than the rears

Normally the motor location has something to do with spring rates I feel an rc that is rear end heavy the spring should be heavier as well but seeing that arrma love chassis slap this might not matter on a metal chassis rc from them but seeing there plastic chassis continuously break this could be the reason 👌
