Pre ordering a game before seeing gameplay is crazy to me. I could see if you're a KZbin Creator. That makes a lil more sense. Im hoping they have the AI life systems they had in Origins - It was actually more complex than in Odyssey or Valhalla - It was a proper simulation for all the npc characters and animals and it was pretty impressive - Im hoping also this is the case as the map size being similar...

The AI in origins is amazing, AI have daily schedules and all go to sleep at the end of the day, they have roles and jobs, and such beautiful vignettes of life. The animals attack eachother and act like real animals it’s awesome. Glad someone else noticed it.

I played AC Mirage with the possibility to see enemies through walls disabled. Honestly, it improved my gameplay experience so much. I have noticed I was paying much more attention to the sounds and the visuals in general. I really hope that HUD customisation is returning with this new installment in the serie.

Each character will have their own individual skill tree and each weapon in the game also has their own skill tree as well. With the weapons it's a proficiency system. The more you use a particular weapon, you better you become with that weapon. You can craft and personalise your own Kitana. And active combat skills with the L1/R1 buttons are making a return as well. In valhalla you had to find books of knowledge. In shadows, you have to find ninja scrolls

I want to play as yasuke and have the shinobi experience its so terrible that you cannot choose for yourself. I feel like when shadows comes out it will be like a mix between Odyssey and Valhalla also mixed in with Mirage and I totally understand why they won’t be in no bird helping us in this one because I too myself rarely use the eagle or Raven but they could’ve at least make it like the old assassin‘s Creed there is a bird, but we can use it and probably make it into an upgrade where it Scouts for you that way you don’t have to switch to Eagle mode just to spun your enemies but looks like it’s not gonna be in this one

If having weapons means collecting only one of each kind and then being able to customize and upgrade it, well I'm all for that mechanic. If you could also change perks on these weapons like let's say health on enemy kill it would be excellent. They should be but they haven’t 100% confirmed. The Japanese Brotherhood has been active for 30 years at this point, and Naoe’s hidden blade has the Assassin symbol on it.

I hated Valhallas system limited to the blacksmith at the settlement and costed ingame currency. I am much more for Odysseys loot than Mirages. I love finding new gear that has the same look with different perks.

Arima and Shinano as provinces? where does it say that? Shinano province is quite far to the north but I guess if they involve Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen then it makes sense although seems weird to add it as the only northern province. Arima province on the other hand i cant even seem to find a historical reference to such a province. The 9 provinces are more likely Settsu (with the smaller Izumi and Kawachi provinces merged into Settsu), Yamato , Kii, Omi, Harima, Iga, Tajima and Yamashiro are all but shown in the footage but the 9th province is unknown although from the map showing off Omi province, we can see an "a" on the far left so the final province is either Tanba or Wakasa in my opinion. Tanba would be my guess but if its this mythical Arima province that I have never heard of then that would be odd. I also like the idea of seeing Shinano province, being that the famous battle of Kawanakajima was fought between Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin in Shinano, as well as the majority of their wars being over control of Shinano, but I see that being more of a DLC thing.

I like the weapon skill thing, but I wasn't a fan of finding random skills around the world in valhalla. I want to have an overview of all skills and be strategic with my build, decide from the start which way i'm gonna go and where to invest points. What's the point of an RPG if it's random like that.

I’m excited for this game but I do think we need to adjust our expectations a little bit. Don get me wrong I’m hoping the game goes great but I don’t think some features will make a bigger difference like we hope.
