Not used watercolour for literally decades..last time was at college. Recently though I have been going to a local primary school for one hour each week to help a class of 8-9 year olds in their art lessons and we have recently been using watercolours there. It gave me a chance to have a nice old play about. The cheap rubbish supplies weren't ideal (Took my own brushes most of the time and also took a pack of paper samples i somehow acquired so the kids could all try better paper) but you learn to manage with what you have and make what you can of it. The kids think I am just there to help them but I am learning just as much as they are haha...

I love this! I actually have been doing the same thing, but I never thought to add music! I will do so soon and see what happens.😀 Another YT watercolor artist I follow suggested to paint patterns - ones that are repetitive and ones that are more freeform - and I have benefitted from that approach: it can actually look like a "finished" piece, even though I was just practicing brush control or water control. Thank you Louise!
