I was 13 when I got my Atari 2600 in 1980. Seeing these new games now blows the old ones out of the water! The quality is so much better! I can only imagine how much money these games would have made if they had come out way back then!

I'd complain about the long development but the feel of the controls is so key to the game's design, very impressive how they perfected Elevator Agent finally. I got to get a cart of that one.😁 Never played Spiders at the arcade but had to go watch that title sequence again, awesome bit of presentation there for the 2600 hardware. Great use of the Playfield graphics to render the webs.

Thanks for reviewing 3 of my games Mike! A couple tips: the colors for Tutankham Arcade were wrong because it looks like you're playing the PAL version instead of the NTSC. It looks much better with the NTSC colors. ;) Also, in Tutankham Arcade for 1 joystick control, if you center the joystick and double click the button it will activate a flash bomb that destroys all the enemies on the screen. You only have a few per life (you can see how many you have by the genie lamps under your score), but they come in handy when you're stuck in a position where you can't shoot your enemies. :D Thanks again!

Watching things like these it shows us that sky is only the limit, and good cooding is the key to fly. Technical specs are real and no one could say VCS stands out a sega master system or a nes...but in 1980 no one I'm sure would imagine it was possibile porting these titles with such an amazing quality on this console, justice served to great videogame machine.

I've lost track of what games you've covered for what systems. There was a pretty nice port of Tutankham to the C64 a year or two ago, as well as a second version with different mazes. Both hard as nails of course.
