@@Lifebikescars great video, I have just took delivery of mine and the sound and comfort pack is awesome, just one question can the drive away locking be switched off? I can’t find the setting for it,

@@tonyross8013 Hi, thanks for your comment. From the home screen select 'car' then 'setting & service - central locking - then deselect' lock when driving' Hope that helps 👍

Fantastic video mate! Really appreciate the level of detail you went into with each system 👍🏻 If I could ask for your opinion, would you say having the surround-sound & 3D audio 'maxed' out, effects the quality of audio? Thanks again, can't wait for mine 👍🏻

Thanks for your kind words. With the surround effect on max, it can give a really spacial effect depending on the genre of music/audio. On some genres and particularly talk, it gives you an unfavourable sound staging but then on others it creates a completely different listening experience, which is really nice. As with all audio, it's personal taste. I do find myself adjusting it occasionally depending on what I'm listen too. Hope that helps and you enjoy your new Audi!

@@Lifebikescars Totally agree. I personally don't listen to radio or other talk heavy audio but will test to find my ideal balance for my tastes in music. I've heard only great things about the C&S pack, thanks for your reply and I'm certain I will enjoy, cheers👍🏻

I’ve just bought a 70 plate Audi a3 s Line saloon hasn’t got park assist etc but when I’m reversing and getting closer to something the car brakes itself and stays down and doesn’t let me accelerate further as it thinks I’m closer to something than I actually am? How do I turn this feature off , Great vid by the way

I have ordered Audi A3 Hatchback 30 TFSI Sport 5dr [Comfort+Sound] [2021]. Could you please share your opinion about this model please. I couldn’t get a test drive because of covid tier 4 lockdown rules. They said I will be having mine by end of February or early March.

Hi, great car, you should be very happy with it once it arrives. The comfort and sound pack is probably the best value for money optional extra. The 30tfsi is plenty powerful enough and very economical.

One more quick question, is the LED headlights on a sport trim more or less the same as the one on the S-line? I'm finding more conflicting infos 🙈

They both have LED Headlights but the light signature design of the S-Line is a lot different. You see it mainly in the design of the daytime running lights. The S-Line has the 4 separate segments at the top and then a bit at the bottom part of the headlight that lights up (if that makes sense?!). The matrix headlights have more segments at the bottom, dynamic front indicators and they do a light up sequence when you open the car. Hope that helps.

Whats your opinion on the 40TFSi e model? Approximately what's the real world electric range? I'm just about to order.

Nice choice! I've not had a chance to drive one on a day to day long term basis yet however the range is supposed to be a pretty realistic 35-40miles in full ev mode. Are you having one as a personal or company car? If company car, something to be mindful of is the bik rate (benefit in kind). This changes from 6% to 10% if you go for the S-Line with 18" alloys. You can choose 17" on a S Line as a non cost option which then drops the rate back down to 6%. Hope that helps anyway.

@@Lifebikescars Thanks for the Info. It's a personal lease for the S-Line. I'm reading the max miles on the 18's is around 37. So I'm thinking it'll actually do somewhere between 20-30 roughly but we'll see!

Hey i know im late to the party:P One question. Does Google Maps appear in the small screen as well? Is there an option for that?

Hi, no worries! Do you mean on the virtual cockpit? If you have satellite map view set, then yes it will bring through the Google powered map view (note, it is not truly Google maps) However, depending on the age of the car, you may find the Google type maps has disappeared because in the in built data package has expired. You may be able to contact you local audi dealership to see if this can be extended, but I think there is a cost involved now (used to be free) As another side note, if you are using Google maps through the smartphone interface (apple car play/andriod auto) the maps will only display on the main screen and not on the virtual cockpit.

They don't (or didn't for MY2021) Was an option on A1, Q2 and A3. Anything above was standard

It all looks great but Apple CarPlay doesn’t work on mine as Audi’s software is out dated. The MMI constantly flickers. Also I get constant warnings on the virtual cockpit. Third Audi in a row. Worst car I’ve had.

That's a shame. Are you using Apple Car play wireless or with a cable? You've probably tried it but if you're using a cable try a different one, make sure it's a good quality one. It can be very temperamental with dodgy cables. Otherwise, it does sound like it might need a software update. Contact your local Audi dealer and they should be able to assist under warranty. Depending what warnings/alerts are coming up, you can go into CAR, SETTING, DRIVER ASSIST and play around with those, pre sense, distance alert etc...

@@Lifebikescars yeah both cables I’ve used are genuine apples ones. USB and USB-C. Wireless Apple car play doesn’t work in my A3 either. The warnings are things like ‘SOS Malfunction’, ‘Brake Assist Failure’, ‘Park Assit Failure’ so more than just the settings I think. My Audi dealer tried to fix but admit they can’t. They have been terrible, poor service, lack of communication generally poor. In the process of rejecting the car.

Don't like my new a3 to many faults all due to the computer systems it's not worth the money Audi stop using systems that are not stable
