Stopped using graph mode on the older version of Autotune because there were always these weird artifacts ruining the vocal. Hopefully the new version doesn’t have that problem.

Yo Wayne let me first start out by saying wifey there has a beautiful voice, and better yet congratulations on the new edition to your family. A kid has a way of making us boys grow up into the men we want our children to live by our influence. Our sons are our personal version 2.0 and we become our daughter's first love. And whatever man they choose he's gonna reflect what she sees in us. I see it in the man my second born has chosen. Now as for the new AutoTune I personally haven't worked with any vocalist in years. basically it’s pitch shifting the top end of the sound and makes the high frequency content sound weird because it’s actually the sound of the microphone and not her voice so ideally you want the presence to stay still

I've owned Auto Tune Pro 9 for several years now and I've barely even used it. I'm intimidated a bit by how much is going on in the back end. Because of that, I've only used presets on it and have never really opened up the hood to use the more advanced settings. That's why I'm here. It's about time that I learn how to take full advantage of all the advanced settings that Auto Tune has to offer. With that said.. do you have any videos where you do some real in depth explaining regarding how to utilize the more advanced settings/features of Auto Tune? Especially if it's for the older Auto Tune Pro 9? There are so many videos about AutoTune on KZbin but it seems like 99% or more are just people that have no clue how to use it properly (like me...) just showing people how to sound like T-Pain and using basic presets rather than them actually knowing how to use the plugin properly. At this point, I'd be willing to *PAY* someone some money for a professional breakdown tutorial so that I can finally use AutoTune and all of it's glory properly! I'm like Kanye West right before T-Pain taught him how to properly use it!

Delete the 'by the way', leave 'it's just like a dream', and extend the word dream with vibrato. The by the way sounds to short like it's cut and pasted. Space would work better, but that's just my opinion. I appreciate everything you do here. Having a wife that can sing the way she does brings a lot to the table. Keep living your best blessed life.

is it either auto mode or graph mode? or both at the same time? asking cus in auto you can select key and scale but in graph if you want more control of where notes can be, you have to be using chromatic scale, and idk if that messes with the auto settings

If I have pro tools 2016 (12.5) which auto tune version should I use if I am on a budget? I was about to buy auto tune access until I realized that its compatible to only pro tools 2018 or later version. What is your advice?

@@Kay_Locc sound quality is identical. They changed the shortcuts for the graph mode and not in a good way. The interface in the graph mode is so slow and unresponsive. It makes correcting pitch in graph mode something you hate doing. It’s the worst.

thing is your singer has a fabulous voice .. and I can hear artefacts that make her sound less soulful and more plastic .. I guess your thickening and reverb will hide that enough .. but take my voice where I might sing 20 cents off the note and apply those tools and I would rather just be out of tune :-)
