I install the NEW Autobeam Performance LED Puddle Light upgrade for my Ford Focus RS!
The Autobeam Performance puddle kit consists of 2 of their LED puddle units. These replacement units dont simply replace the old bulbs but fully replace the whole unit and have a full LED panel incorporated inot the new housing!
These LED units are easy to install and are super bright!

The old puddle bulbs work of course but when you upgrade to these new Autobeam units you will see just how much better these are!

I watched your video on installing the Autobeam sequential LED strips for the mirrors. I bought a set of sequential LEDs for my Focus ST and have had a hard time trying to install them since I don't really have the right set of tools. I had no idea you could just pop off the side mirror so easily and didn't even consider it. This is going to help me with the installation. So, even though this video is for a different car (Not all that different though, eh?) I just wanted to say thanks because it still helped out!

Hello Adam, another great video, you make it look so easy to fit. Very interesting this one but I think I will only replace when the original brake. However I loved the video. ( I say this after I watched your Mountune charge pipe upgrade and then I ended up going for the full Mountune host kit! 😱😱😂

I probs wouldn't have thought of it by Autobeam asked me to review before release so I went for it! Nice one on the hard pipe, I was looking at potentially getting the hoses there a couple of days ago but they were out of stock in black (classic Mountune I know lol)

@@MrLiipasin yes, eventually! I had to cut a bit off as it was to big for the housing on the mirror. Poor quality for the money.

@@neilospencer i got it done also just a minute ago. I shaved little bit off from the led housing and little bit off from the underside of mirror where led housing "clicks". And with brute force got them to click. Maybe there are some variances in the mirrors, Adam's led's went in nicely.

another good informative video AR. I have the replacement bulbs from Autobeam already. I would be surprised if these new units are sufficiently brighter to replace those? However, the replacements I got from Autobeam are much better than the stock bulbs. So def worth considering if folks are on the standard lighting.

@@AdamRainey yeah I had done. I gave up in the end and just put the OEM housing back in the other side (which I had been able to get out easily enough) and bought some LED W5Ws. Seems okay and saved me breaking anything in the mirror itself.

Having difficulty fitting these. Got a set for my mk3 late 2013 titanium and the edge with the clip will not fit as one corner seems bigger than the corner cut out in the mirror?

@anonamos6086 funny thing since then I've discovered the STs atleast the PFLs have the puddle lights, so a retrofit would be possible, I wonder if the circuitry is all the same on the UK and US MK3 models, if so, then it would be very easy to install

Not sure, even over here not every RS has puddle lights to upgrade to these so a closer look on your particular car would be required

Depends on what I'm doing, normally I work by sound and feel rather than specific rpm. The answer is probably about 4-5k. If driving the folks about I will granny shift tho and if playing with launch control then probably about 6k

Hello adam. I just bought these today but found it a massive struggle getting it into the drivers side. The passenger side went in perfectly and the original drivers side would come out and go back in with ease. But the autobeam one just wont go in. Any idea why? Tia

It is a fully sealed unit - you would break it if you tried opening it. So effectively this is changing the 'bulb'
