I have had an older manual Brevil unit (with the built in grinder) since 2018, and it runs perfectly day in day out. It's but like a tank. Highly recommend their more basic units. While the new units like this are amazing, I love the ritual of coffee in the morning. Yeah. Coffee nerd. And I can buy a lot of quality coffee beans for the extra two grand for these robo units! 😊 I gotta say the steam wand is sorta cool. The key to a fantastic coffee is good quality beans and cleanliness. The Brevil is easy to clean: be sure to descale regularly to keep it running smoothly.

Can we stop acting like this is a run of the mill bean to cup? These machines are the culmination of espresso making. They have streamlined the process and deliver the best repeatable espressos ever.

I think that this is the best brand that Australia has.

Just purchased one of these last week & I love it. I'm somebody who enjoys good coffee but I'm not so experienced with espresso style machines. I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far but it's a work in process. This is a Machine for people like me that want great coffee but either are limited or don't really want to get so into the coffee experience. Is it expensive, Oh you bet, a bit painful. That said, If I get a good few years out of this with almost a daily usage, it works for me.

Couldn't have said it better myself. So glad it's helping you enjoy great coffee at home.

In England there’s a kettle company called breville. When sage/breville started selling in England our breville decided to make a coffee machine almost identical looking to sage however it’s £200 cheaper and terrible so a lot of people buy it thinking it’s the same breville as this, If you’re in England and you think should I buy a sage or a breville BUY A SAGE
@Chzydawg8 күн бұрын
How is that not illegal? I just looked it up, they're almost visibly identical. That's so dumb.
@bloopystock41457 күн бұрын
@ must be a loophole in copyright, I believe they’re called sunbeam in other countries. Honestly the only reason people bought sages when it came out was our lad Heston endorsed it otherwise I’d reckon everyone would buy the cheap one thinking they’re grabbing a better machine

If you want to upgrade from your capsule machine and are not quite ready for a full manual espresso machine, this is the perfect machine for You!

Because jumping from a 50€ pod machine to sth that costs 3.000€ is what most ppl wanna do
@Yagizino5 күн бұрын
Youre wrong. With machines like these you can still make perfect espressos. I would argue its better than home machines as you dont waste huge amount of shots to get 1 good coffee. Its the most repeatable, machine ever. Insane quality every time.

Very interesting. I’m in a argument with wife over just getting a basic machine (like the little one on your left) as less to go wrong or getting the one you just demoed for no fuss coffee to replace our aging sunbeam cafe series twin thermoblock machine . Cheers😊

I replaced my Oracle Touch with the Jet, the jet auto frothing is sub par compared to the touch. Few other content providers have mentioned the same thing on their KZbin videos i.e coffeeKev etc , i tried reaching out to Breville but didnt get anywhere Would be good if you can compare the Oracle Touch vs Jet auto frothing and will see the difference and hopefully someone at Breville would watch your video and take it more seriously Nice video btw 😊
@Goldenbrown.coffee7 күн бұрын
Great idea! i'll do a side by side and test, you would assume it's the same tech but let's get to the bottom of it.
@Toss36 күн бұрын
What's wrong with the jet's frother exactly? And what made you switch from the oracle touch (dual boiler) to the jet? Seems like a side-grade or even downgrade in many aspects. Especially now that the newer revisions of the Oracle comes with the same Baratza Burrs.
@patrickelhage47476 күн бұрын
@@Toss3 my oracle touch died under extended warranty, it had already had several break downs due to internal leaks which damaged the triac board Plus volumetric output was a big selling point to ensure consistency which the Oracle Touch lacked Other than the auto frothing issue the Jet is a great machine

I'm between the Oracle Jet, Barista Pro, and Barista Touch... love that the Oracle Jet offers cold brew and cold espresso, wondering if there's some way to create a similar drink on the Pro or Touch and not spend double or more than double the money on the Jet. Any input?

Hey @GoldenBrown I need your advice what do Ozzies do when they did too much of the old yayo after the barbie sesh? I heard yall be the experts

Thoughts on the Oracle Jet vs the Touch Impress for that almost fully automatic workflow? Had seen some comparisons there and wondering if you have an opinion on the features gained for the cost difference.

Well done. Great review. For those that are impatient stick it out to the end. Babycino- nice touch. Single boiler - shame Breville, maybe mark II. How long does it take to warm up when switched on ? Breville have ticked all boxes here - well done. For now I will keep my Oracle BES980 until mark II comes out.

Such a shame that you can’t steam and extract milk at the same time.this is what would make this machine the ultimate home machine

No boiler, has a thermojet. The original Oracle and Oracle touch were dual boilers.

Its not. It's not even a single boiler As the title says, its a thermojet

@@ingodwetrust1987 Boilers give stale re boiled water. The thermojet is instant on water heating and group head heating so workflow is quick. Due to power requirements with current technology dual thermometer heaters for water and steam is not possible without three phase mains power. For two people the jet is quick and you can grind whilst waiting for milk. Wether it’s the best fit depends on how you will be using it. I use the built in grinder for decaf and have a separate grinder for ordinary, I single dose both grinders and get great results. I like I can make an espresso a few seconds after I turn the machine on. I fill my cup with boiling water and use it to heat the portafilter.
