NEW AVANTASIA ALBUM - STUDIO REPORT

Tobias & Edguy are currently touring South America with ex-Guns'n Roses guitarist Slash and his band, but right before they left Tobias sent us some footage he filmed during the recording of the new Avantasia album to give you a clue of what's going on in the studio. The drum recordings for the forthcoming Avantasia album have been completed, and the drummer is Russell Gilbrook from Uriah Heep.

man, I think that you is that thing you called Tobi, he is a great musician, and what have you achieved? And btw people can't be forever young and I think Tobias music fits his age. When he was youner his music kicked asses so hard and good, but times changes and music too(bu it is still kicks ass but in a different way I'd say), you just have to face it. And I'am quit sure it is with all musicians in that way up to 30 period and after 30. That is it man.

I wonder if Tobias can invite Mike Portnoy as a guest drummer. Is that improbable? Im really curious on how artist meet up with each other.. why cant Dream theater and Avantasia come together or Skidrow and gamma ray?.. they seem to be in lined with metal..
