New Baby Flowerhorn and What I Feed Him

This is my new kamfa flowerhorn "Pollock."
Well, I was told he is a kamfa. Some have commented he is SRD, or mix of a zhen zhou and kamfa. Commonly called as kzz or kamfa zz.
It doesn't matter too much to me what kind of flowerhorn he is, as long as he's healthy and happy.

If you're uncomfortable feeding live mealworms, you can try the freeze dried kind, or other freeze dried foods.
I fed Foo live mealworms for over a year and a half and never had any problems.
If your flowerhorn is small, you can cut the live mealworm in smaller pieces.
I'm feeding Pollock mealworms around 2~3 times a week.

You know what i think, and its sad, i think they sold you a sick fish from get go. Maybe they should tell the farm they got theyre fish from. What hurts me the most is the way you toke care of that fish. Its was something to see it touched my heart an not many things do.The plants the food an the way yoh tried to save that fish made me cry... He was throwing up in the bag when you first got him. I think he was sick already it wasn't your fault. You have it on video a good thing. They should give you a free fish. He was super cute.

I absolutely LOVE your flower horn vids!! You also care for your fish lovely!!! Exceptionally well edited and your style is relaxing and informative. ... Please please consider SOAKIng your pellets first ( in little of his tank water ) as fish appreciate this and is easier on his digestive system. Fish don't eat hard dry food in the wild and is why fry are best fed brine shrimp etc. I have studied fish digestive system as part of my course :0) pretty interesting ;0)

Watched the later videos too. With such a social and caring fish, it would be cool to have a large central aquarium with smaller aquariums in spots like by the bed and by the sofa or recliner , and maybe near the tub, all joined by 6 or 8 inch acrylic tubes. So he or she could be around like a cat or dog. Imagine how it would react to seeing a human take a bath. Haha
