Hello OTZ, I wanted to add a small message to the many who support you, just to tell you that you have always been a model of honesty, sincerity, and perseverance. This year, I also lost someone very dear to me, after 13 years of being my best friend, under similar circumstances, and it was at that moment that I started playing DBD. How did I learn to play DBD? By watching videos/streams on KZbin and Twitch. OTZ, you not only taught me how to play the game, but you also taught me to love it, and this game also allowed me to form a relationship with the girl I am very much in love with. We often watch your videos and streams together, although I watch the ones that are over an hour long by myself. I laugh with you, I marvel with you, and today, we cry with you. Stay strong, this is going to be a tough time, but it's for the best. Losing people in these circumstances is always horrible, but it's often for the best. We are all with you, even though only you can fully understand the pain and distress you're going through. I will continue to watch each of your future videos, take the time you need to feel a bit better.

That is a good point. As you go up in MMR, you're just going to end up seeing more Blights, and since the weaker killers are going to be the most effected by this... you're just going to end up seeing even MORE Blights as you climb up the mmr ladder.

I'm so tired of this argument being used for literally every survivor perk... Yes, there is a major power disparity between a Trapper and a Blight. That doesn't mean survivor perks need to be balanced around that, because the stronger killers are going to successfully tunnel REGARDLESS of how strong an anti-tunnel perk is. You don't just say, "Screw it, let's not give survivors perks that noticeably impact and punish tunneling because Blight exists 🤡"

The thing about Babysitter its that not only it haste survivors, also scratch marks and pools of blood. If a blight hits the survivor he will do the look down animation while the survivor gets even more speed with deep wound, but no leaving trace behind. Good survivors will use that really good, so yeah its a fair and really nice change. (Also if the killer dont tunnel its -1 perk slot.)

I think the fact that Babysitter hides scratch marks as well should probably be some pretty healthy anti-tunneling vs even some of the stronger killers depending on what other perks people are running. Either way its still a good addition to mix up builds every now and again -- something that I think this game needs in healthy doses regularly.

For now, stay strong, even if the world feels like it falls apart around you, find the strenght to continue whatever it is you are doing. Just go after the unhooker. If you’re going to be tunneling in end game, you’re probably camping. In which case, hit the survivor as they unhook and hit them once the unhook is completed. It isn’t that hard. Unhooking in end game, with the exception of some rare perks, is like a guaranteed trade anyway.

If you ever get the chance, can you try my build? Play Dredge with HEX: plaything, HEX: third seal, HEX: thirll of the hunt and, HEX: pentimento. The idea is if you hit people they will suffer blindness paired with how dark the map gets with Dredge the idea is when you hook people they are left there to die because nobody can see the arua and the dark map helps hide the black Circle that happens when you hook someone.
