Nicholas is his usual brilliantly evil self in the scene with Jeb. He smiles as he lets Jeb know he did not come to help him. "ONE of us is going to finish you!" Imagine being on the bad side of both Nicholas AND Angelique!

I found Sabrina Stewart a bit of a drag in earlier episodes but in this one I love her forcefulness! Also love the way Angelique greets Skylar!

Sabrina Stewart went to the Carriage House to meet with that villainous Bruno & plead with him to leave Chris Jennings alone. But Bruno refused. Then Sabrina pointed a gun at him, distracted when Sky walked in, Bruno wrestled the gun away from her and ended up locking & confining her to a room.

Angelique's spell on Maggie and Quentin is very similar to the one she put on Josette, and Jeremiah! Quentin should kept his rendezvous with Sabrina! She needs his help! Bruno is a pig, and should be gotten rid of! Nicholas wants to destroy Jeb, and doesn't want Angelique to do it. I wonder what will happen? ~Janet in Canada

Apparently, 5:00 comes early at Collinwood for Mrs. Jeb Hawkes. Carolyn had better watch it or she’ll become as dipsomaniacal as her beloved uncle. PS After Barnabas and Dr. Hoffman return from Parallel Time and 1995, Angelique’s love spell on Maggie and Quentin just sort of disappeared completely. In fact, Angelique (like Roger) is nowhere to be seen at Collinwood.

That is why I am not fond of the 1970 episodes that precede 1840. There is no Roger, Angelique or Nicholas. Mrs. Johnson guest stars once and Prof Stokes and Willie appear sporadically. The saving grace comes towards the end as Nancy Barrett beautifully portraits Carolyn who has been bewitched by "Gerard" and taunts Willie with the riddle and is hostile to Julia and Barnabas. I am not fond of the "filler" scenes of David and Hallie.

@@jonhinson5701 I really don't like the David and Hallie scenes. I fast-forward through most of them lol

Remember that he tried to kill her.

He tried to burn her to death...did you really expect her to just forgive and forget? And Sky was the one who ratted out Barnabas to Jeb, I'm sure she hasn't forgotten that either.

Can we get to Angelique and Alexis and parallel time please? The Jeb Hawkes thing never grabbed me back in the original days, still doesn't. As passing an actor Christopher Pennock was I felt nothing because he didn't make me care. Neither did Sabrina. Jmo. PS/ Maggies hair looks awful in this episode. Bad wiggery? Lol Fortunately what saves these particular episodes are current time Angelique, Bruno and Nicholas. 👍

We have to have Bruno, Sky, Jeb and Nicholas get their downfall first before moving on.

@@jonhinson5701 Bruno’s magnificent head of hair: Is it real or is it a Captain James T. Kirk rug?

@@kensellers4082 I saw behind the scenes photos of Michael Stroka during this time and they are working seriously on his hair, sometimes with curlers. They do the same to Pennock in 1840.

@@jonhinson5701 I tell you, warlock Judah Zachary really lucked out, when con-man Gerard Stiles was selected to be Judah’s host body, what with Gerard being younger than Judah, Gerard being better looking than Judah, and with a full, Bruno Hess-like head of hair, which must have absolutely thrilled the chrome-domed Judah Zachary!
