Wish you would expand with specifics when you say, “Gonna affect the ride slightly but a very similar experience to version 13.” I think people would like to know in what specific way it affects the ride and precisely how is it different from version 13 since “similar” implies a difference. These are the kind of specifics many would like elaborated in a “full review” as ambiguity doesn’t help with deciding whether to try version 14 or stock up on version 13.

I hate how retailers always title their videos "review" instead of "promo". They never say negative things about their products. I've owned maybe 20 running shoes and I can say at least 2 negative things about each one of them.

They needed to improve the durability. The cushion *AND* rubber wore out in just 3 months with my V13s!

Nice video! Is the standard version wider and roomier in the toebox compared to the v13? I had to go 1/2 size up with v13 because it was too narrow

Anyone know why the shipping times for New Balance in Canada are so hideous; I've heard there are some warehouse issues, but for a pair of shoes ordered on Sept. 23, 2024 (can't get my size/width in stores) in stock, not to be shipped is hideous. Doubt I will order from these guys again and go back to a different shoe manufacturer.

1080 is considered one of the flagship shoes of the brand. But i have to say it is the worse performing one among all the other brands when u compare with their daily trainers.

I agree. The foam is soft but has no response. For this type of foam, i can get a $30 pair of shoes with similar performance

@@parrotbrand2782 And I don't mean no brand hate AT ALL by saying this. I think the NB Rebel 3 and Propel V4 were great shoes and worked wonders for me. I also know that there are different compositions under the same brand name "Fresh Foam" and everything, but I hated that 1080, I don't need to be fast in easy or long runs, but that foam just feels as it were pulling me back at every step. As a matter of fact, I put a 880 on at a shoe store the other day and it felt much better. Go figure!
