Thank you for the great review! I got these fitted at my local shoe shop which was including video on the treadmill to see my running style, both shop owner and myself preferred this model for my needs (shorter and longer distance, lightweight). Bought them and looking forward to get some training in towards my first half marathon.

Can you compare this to the Rebel? Which is better as a shoe that can do everything for someone who runs about 25 miles per week?

These will be a more versatile shoe compared to the Rebel- meaning it can get into the gym and be versatile for more workouts than just running. The Rebel uses a Fuel Cell foam midsole which has a little more "bounce" compared to the 880v14's Fresh Foam X midsole which will be softer and more plush. Hope this helps!!

@@fitfirstfootwear I have the 880V12 & 880V13 . They have a dual layer midsole of Fresh foam x and Fuelcell which was firm yet had excellent toe off for faster runs. They also have a heavy duty thick outsole for traction & long life. The Version 14 outsole looks disappointing compared to the previous 880s. I have seen some other reviews that hate the mushy softness. I am hesitent to but these now
