Perfect! This was very helpful. I have always hiked in New Balance trail runners. This seals it for me. Gonna order 3 pairs of those puppies. As to the green Superfeet, I love mine. I have gone through 3 set of New Balance trail runners on one set and they show very little signs of wear. It is a curious thing. I have a bad right knee and feel they help my knee. Oh.. and my feet are approaching 60 years old. Again.. love the review. Thank you for that.

@@ShakerHikes Ahhh the woes of finding comfortable insoles. Thats my lifes journey ! I have a couple pairs of the New Balance Hierro Fresh FoamX V6, basically same shoeas the ones in the video, little less fresh foam and a Vibram Megagrip sole. New Balance makes fine shoes in all sizes and widths. A fine Boston company. Nice video.

You needed to be sipping a beer while recording this.

Very creative video setup...we are up in Kennebunkport this weekend!!! Are the LL Bean shoe products good, bad or otherwise?

Thank you for following along and for your comment! I haven't had any experience with LL Bean shoes so I can't really provide any feedback on them..... but I know a lot of people have good luck with their products. Thank you once again for following along!

Thanks for the review. Taking into account your socks and liners did you have to go up in size? I need to find a store near me to try them on.
@ShakerHikes

I didn't size up any, the liners I use are really thin so it wasn't necessary. Thank you for your comment and for following along, it's greatly appreciated!

Thanks for this review...did you size up from your normal size or? How's the size/fit run in your opinion?
@ShakerHikes

I didn't size up any. I had considered it since I was somewhat worried about my feet swelling and so forth, but it hasn't been an issue yet. Thank you for following along and for your comment, it's greatly appreciated!

Do you worry about ankle support with the low cut?
@ShakerHikes
@ShakerHikes 3 жыл бұрын
I've never had an issue with it. Before coming out on trail I did do some exercises to help strengthen my knees and ankles, I think that may help a great deal as well. I see very few people wearing hiking boots (or mids) out on trail, most use trail runners similar to these. Thank you for following along and for your comment, it's greatly appreciated!
