Your videos are the best Ben by far. So here’s my question.. can a running shoe be too comfortable!? Sure I agree none of us should be running in an uncomfortable shoe but if the comfort level goes too far can that become detrimental to our running form? I want a comfortable shoe but at the same time I want to feel them on my feet so I’m aware of them when I’m running that way I can concentrate on my foot strike especially on long runs when our form can decline as we get tired. @alexgener4309Ай бұрын
@@ImpatientTurtle I struggled with the 1080v13. It's all sink and hardly no rebound, at least for me, and I tire sooner in it than any other shoe in my rotation. I found the arch area a little irritating in the More v5. Definitely had some rubbing there. I have changed out the insole to the ones in my More Trail v3 and it has improved it. For casual at this stage I don't think it is as comfortable as the 1080v13 or the More v3. Also the Brooks ghost max 2 feels a lot better, though not as soft. Hopefully the arch will flatten out a bit over time. But for running it is great. Also have the Balos which I think is better all round, even for easy runs and it is much lighter.

@ScrappyCoCo0 Which ones did you try? 1080v13 was measured as one of the softest shoes on the market. Definitely in the 99th percentile on RunRepeat. More v4/5, Rebel v3/v4, Balos are all VERY soft shoes. In fact, if you if you like firm shoes you should stay away from the current New Balance lineup. I have a bunch of shoes from New Balance, Asics, and Brooks and by far the New Balance midsole is the softerest. In fact, my one complaint about the 1080v13 is that it's too soft. @@itsahardmuttlife9263I know they foams look the same but they're not. The More V5 has a denser formulation and it's not as mushy as the 1080v13.
