Danny is by far the best of the major brands at presenting the new line of products. Knowledgable, caring, but not drowning us in too much brandspeak or marketing lingo. Ultimately it's more about the products, but with all of these videos coming out, some presenters much like their products, stand above the rest.

New balance is fire right now. 880, 1080, super comp trainer, rebel, more v4. So many solid options right now really impressed with the fuel cell midsole as well

I've had my SC Trainers for maybe a week and I LOVE them. I have arthritis in my big toe and these have totally changed my running. The weird heel collar pressure comes and then disappears for me. I swear it is actually forcing me to run more evenly (I was suppinating because of the toe and now i feel the pressure pushes me more neutral), my knees feel better for sure). I feel like this shoe responds to the runner. It feels soft when you step in but (esp as a heel striker) it becomes very responisve once you start moving. I don't even notice the weight to be honest. And once you take it off your legs feel like they haven't even been used. All this to say, I'm worried the new version will lose some of the smoothe ride in an effort to decrease the weight.

I kind of think there missing the point by lowering the stack or sc trainer I thought that was one of its selling points. Now it’s a expensive $180 training shoe with nothing unique and there are lots of amazing running shoes that are less expensive and just as good if not better Not to mention you can get carbon plated race shoes for less in sales now

From what he explained about the SC Trainer v2, it's the same as the SC Elite. The stack height of the SC Trainer v1 is what made that shoe what it is and stood out from the rest of the New Balance shoes.

I agree. He was saying the weight of the SC Trainer v1 was too close to the More V4. But reducing it by an ounce and lowering the stack height, now it is truly a cheaper clone of the SC Elite V3. Instead of going down over an ounce and over 5mm stack, it would have been interesting if they split the difference. Go from 45 to 42-43 mm instead and drop ~ 0.5 ounces, that way maintains some of that uniqueness.

@@RUN-SC Definitely not a clone of SC elite. There’s different fuel cell in each, different offsets, and trainer is still quite a bit heavier than elite.

Love the 860 V13 at the moment and can’t wait to try the Vongo V6! later this year. NB’s new stability system is going to be a game changer. Finally stability shoes that don’t look or feel like stability shoes🤞🏻

Sc trainer hurt my ankle bone I know sounds mad but rubbed it raw even with socks on but I loved the ride I really didn’t want send back it was some material on inside i hope this is better in v2

SC trainer 2 looks dope. I wasn’t pumped about V1 due to high stack height and big drop. I currently rotate my Rebel V3’s, SC Pacers and 880 V12’s. So by the time SC trainer 2 comes out, I’ll be ready for it! ❤️ I LOVE NB shoes!

Ngl I feel the illegal stack height is half the reason I love my SC Trainers, though I am curious to see if they come out with some better colorways, they definitely need some dark or black ones that don't stain 2 weeks into owning, having them look like they got dug out of a dumpster no matter how thorough they are cleaned is a bit of a slap in the face right after pumping $200 into them

i had used the 880 for years because I love the grip and the firm midsole. Since they switched to fresh foam, it is too soft for me. I was so hoping NB would move away from fresh foam. looks like I'll have to keep wearing a different shoe brand.

I JUST got SC Trainers, and all the negatives are fixed for version 2! The weight, obviously, but also the heel collar of pain! That bunched up bit of fabric and stitching toward the tongue digs right into my foot, and a couple other people I know who have the SCT. Only 15 miles on my pair, and I'm working on a way to cut or cover that nub. Version 2 is much anticipated!

I was close to buying an 880v12 yesterday but I saw some complaints about the upper and it looks like the v13 fixes those problems (hopefully; will wait for reviews). SC Trainer 2 - 4E please! I'm amazed that these are being announced already but we're almost at December.

I live in FL and wish I never bought my 880 V12’s. The knit upper is super thick and my foot sweats bad in it. If I were running in New York in the fall, I bet they’d be great. Just too much material. But my Rebel V3’s are perfect!

@@chriscoop6852 The lows in my area range from 16 to 33 and the highs from 30 to 54 for the next ten days. New Balance is a Boston company and maybe that influences their upper decisions. I have socks of differing thicknesses and materials and will run outside down to the low 20s (if it is not windy). I'm not a fan of hot places to live. The downside is that I have to shovel a lot of snow and clear the roof of snow from time to time.

I live near Boston, so the temperature of a shoe inside, really not an issue,( it's cold here most of the time. ) The upper is a little loosey goosey, but materials quality, so not worried about it wearing out. The 880v12's are a workhorse shoe and I beat the snot out of them ,so looks be damned. The midsole is super cushioned and responsive at the same time, the outsole is thick, but the grip in the rain and snow is amazing. I like em😁

The word on the streets from some other reviewers is that the 880's are a dual foam of: FRESH FOAM X and FUELCELL? Can we get New Balance to confirm that? No one will say...big industry secret Whatever they are using is a fantastic mix imo.....the 880 cushion is awesome and the respsonsiveness is better than the older 880's I tried like the version 10 and 11.

First SC Trainer is nice shoes but I wish the uppers just doesn't clean better. Not a big deal. I don't wear it casually so it really doesn't matter but I like to keep my shoes clean. Obsessive compulsive thing.

The SC trainer V2 looks great, but I don't like to see the super-soft over-the limited SC trainer go. The current SC trainer is just perfect for running off the bike (think of your triathlete customers). So, I feel that SC trainer V2 should rather replace the SC pacer, than the SC trainer

Taking away all those mm's in the heel and only shaving one ounce in weight isn't something impressive if i'm being honest. Most people are heel strikers and the reason most people loved this shoe was because of that stack height in the heel. I hope this shoe doesn't dissapoint.

I'm hoping New Balance fixes the 880v12 with this update. v10 was great and v11 was not bad. v12 is way to soft and now I've had to more to the Ride after years with New Balance. If people want a soft shoe they can use the 1080. Everything does not need to be so soft.

I have bad knees so I like em😁...but you're right , my 880V11 had less cushion. (It's the whole MAX shoe thing ) The market demands softness
