I kept seeing BAND-MAID on reaction channels like Chase and Tank, and I kept ignoring them because I assumed that it was something niche for anime fans or something like that. Then about two months ago I came across a comment on another video (no idea which one) saying they loved when bands feature strong bass playing, citing MISA’s playing in “Dice” as an example. So I went and watched that music video and really enjoyed it. Afterward I immediately went and watched Chase’s entire B-M reaction playlist and then moved on to watching basically everything I could find from them and bought their last four albums.

That is so cool! They really stand out as string musicians all around! And such creative composers! Thanks for sharing your story!

@@GaryHolloway-810 basically. I always enjoy your comments as well. We’ve probably interacted at some point, but I don’t remember. I only wish now that I had found them before their last US tour, or at least their last online serving. Hopefully they’ll either announce some 2022 US tour dates soon or maybe do another online serving soon that I can attend.

Same! Every time I watch a live performance, I am a little jealous. 😂

@@Metal_Auditor Covid permitting i'm sure they'll come back to the US & England soon. They'll certainly be at the top of the Maids list of places to play. Result for us.👍

I've watched a lot of reactions to "Sense" since it's premier and I think every single reactor has said the word EPIC in describing the intro.

Akane was in the chat before anyone else. She was very excited and going crazy on Twitter.

I just saw, at the premiere B-M had 424K subscribers. Four days later 427K.

theres sooo much homage to the manga(Platinum End) in the music video. the wings, the crystal, the feathers, the light shooting thru, etc

F'n great song with an, in the most positive sense, sick video, which the ladies present us here. In many aspects, I think they have surpassed themselves again. What stands out for me the most after I see the video now for the third or fourth time is Kanami's solo with the ingenious matching visuals to it, and especially Saiki's delivery on the vocals. I think it fits perfectly that she is seen in the video with angel wings. :) _____________________ 【 Our rock never dies ever. Forever! 】- from BAND-MAID 'Manners' 🕊

Side Note: Interesting interview I stumbled across with Director of movie "Kate", that BandMaid was in, speaks of how he came to choose them. 'Kate' director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan gushes about Band-Maid kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKOxiId_rbGMY7M

Somehow they manage to have all four musicians playing their own music at the same time and it sounds fantastic

Dude! You're a Master, not a Princess (or both)...LOL Wave: "AKANE's drums are so complimentary to" [add any other band member's name and instrument here]. I'm just glad Saiki didn't suck down one of those PO feathers when she was holding those notes for so long! What you do is really important. Your reactions are among the best on You Tube, thoughtful, insightful, real honest reactions with substance, not just fluff like many others. So, your fans are now watching all your content, and learning of new artists, from your reactions, largely driven by your fan base's requests. Win...win for everyone. You, your fans and the artists and their fans!

God this is so much better than the short anime op version. I still think their new songs have more j-rock influence especially with vocal tunes though.

The lyrics only make sense if you have seen the anime. They are three episodes in the show when they are releasing this video. The anime is OK. The intro song is the highlight of the show.

Wave you mentioned twice the name of the reactor that pays attention to MISA's work, but I was not able to catch up his name. Something like Mellow, but for sure my ears got it wrong. Please write down. かいてください😀

The only thing I found disturbing was when the laser beam shoots through Saiki's heart and then in the next shot she has angel wings. The reference must be in the anime. But I didn't like that image.
