I loved Xena as a kid. For me she was the first female hero. I literally wanted the dolls but the first editions were ugly but the second and thirds looked a lot like Xena and Gabrielle. I also had a big crush on Aries, it was very sad the actor who played him died so young.

I'm Seriously getting this for the party table and punch bowl set to go in my Barbie house. I collect the Color Reveal dolls too and this wig is not too bad. I actually like this wig compared to the others. I think if Mattel would do the wigs like this one and offer two different wigs with two different styles per doll that would be nice to change the dolls hair around . I used to watch Xena as a child! I was born in 88, so whenever I was sick and stayed home from school, my tv options were Charmed and Xena. My favorite character was Gabriella (I think that was her name) because she was also awesome, but not as intense as Xena.

I love the themes, the little accessories, the game, etc, but like… The skirts and hair never match the bathing suit, or shoes. Like… do they just dive into a pile of colors and fabrics and say, “Yeah sure whatever.” 😂 At least have color coordination and pattern coordination yeesh. The wigs however are a MUCH better improvement, I just wish the scalp hair color matched

I'm an adult collector and haven't bought any color reveals and wasn't planning on until I saw those months ago! And I have to have them! I want almost all them so I can put them on MTM bodies!!! The purple tulle you tied around your head is meant to be a bunting hanging on the box backdrop as a decoration. And the gray things are the legs of the table. And there should be confetti that goes inside the disco ball that drops out when you spin it. I love the Chelsea, but don't like Barbie quite as much. Looking forward to the mermaids!

my parents also got a bowl like that for their wedding! the cups are in the china cabinet i believe, but the bowl and ladle don't fit so we have them shoved into a normal cabinet lmao whenever my friends and i have parties (literally just four of us sitting around and eating pizza or cake on a holiday) we tend to have punch! it's usually a soda + sherbert. for valentines day my parents lent me their punch bowl since we couldn't find one to use ourselves and i very carefully brought the sticky giant glass bowl home since it barely fit in my friendd' sink to begin with. couldn't really wash it there unfortunately.
