Eline, the mbili and Grace molde are actually the same thing, the only Diference is the year on the back of the head(Mattel in 2011 created a new head Mark on the back of the head, probably because the 2001 original has slightly crooked letters and appears to be handwritten lol)

I also got the totally hair Barbie so I could have her cool dress. I got totally hair Ken because he is just so darn cute. I got the golden dream Barbie, but haven’t found a good made to move body match for her yet.

These recent Fashionistas actually show me how cheap Barbie Playline has become, so many cut offs. I grew up in the 80s/90s and these Barbies who they represent were Playline Barbies as well, what a sad huge difference. 🥺

I feel the same. I don't want to diminish from those who enjoy them, and I bought a few of these myself, but there is no question they are inferior to older Barbies. The Fashionistas are a budget line, though, so a better comparison is the Barbie Deluxe Style dolls that will be coming out.

I think you meant to say #228 for the blind one. Trust me I have that one and I would know. My grandfather and I looked her up and initially I asked for her for Christmas but I’m also legally blind, and he said because I do so much for him he would just order her for me and so she got here in August. But the funny thing is I asked my grandfather what names she could look like,, and he said, “She looks more like a Karen if anything.” The thing with that is I did some research on the name, and I found out that it is the complete opposite of what the stereotype is saying. I do have to give you credit though for getting that right after you gave us your initial opinion on her. You did accidentally say #229 at first but things happen. Just thought I should let you know.

Really cool I have both the curl Barbie and golden dreams Barbie I love them I wanted to get the totally hair Ken doll but I haven’t seen him at target I’ll have to check Walmart.
