I think a great idea for a new wave from Mattel with a blast from the past (or even a few for the future) would be all of those old dolls revamped to a new fashionista that people may have not had in the past nor do most places sell them. For example, the classic Barbie and Ken then Raquelle, Ryan, Midge, Allan, Nikki, Teresa. Even a grown up Skipper, Staci, and Chelsea would be cool. Top it off with the grandma and grandpa or the parents of the Barbie sisters. Just an idea with different body types and disabilities bringing it in the modern times.

Good to see a new video, Faith! I only got 231. Pixellation isn't too bad on her, and she has a different vibe from previous Asian dolls made with the Mbili sculpt. Need to see 232 and 234 IRL before I buy. I like the Daya sculpt, so maybe I'd like 232. 234's face sculpt reminds me of the Alec face crossed with the original face of the purple marbled pants yoga (or the original face of the MTM boxer) crossed with the Greek face. Might have to have her. Really not fond of the floral jumpsuit on poor Ken. The cornrow Ken sculpt is the epitome of cool. The jumpsuit is totally uncool. The green jumpsuit isn't a great fashion choice, either. Yeah, I have it because I wanted the pink Barbie outfit. Haven't dared put it on a Ken yet. BTW, you look good with short hair. You look good with long hair, too! Happy New Year and I look forward to more videos!

I generally only get a Fashionista if I really like the outfit and/or they aren’t very pixelated. I got a few earlier this year, but these seem worse. I would rather spend three times more on a Looks doll, but I think that line might be ending. I have heard rumours of a “Basics” line, but don’t know how that will differ from the Looks or old Basics.

Men don’t wear jumpers! Ugh! Overall, disappointed with this wave. Fashionista dolls are cheap basic dolls. Meh. But, on the positive side… I do love your video, appreciate all the information and review. I’ll spend my Dolly Dollars elsewhere.

I was so disappointed with the latest Fashionistas, especially Ken 235. He was literally identical to the Ken Fashionista that was printed a few years back. I was so angry about that can’t metallic. Give us a new mold for Ken every year instead of repeating Sabe, Fais, sculpt. Very disappointing.
