I feel the same! If it doesn’t knock my socks off I’m like ,, I’ll tell you my thoughts in case it sounds like it would work for you, but I can’t praise it or call it a favorite. That’s why I love doing 3 day wear tests, it helps me to try it in different ways and really figure it out. I’d be interested to see you try multiple day wear tests. ❤️

i know you said that you always test foundations on their own initially (without primer), and i totally respect that because it gives each one an equal baselline (very scientific! lol) BUUUUT... I picked up a tip from Jackie Aina and Robert Welsh that i've added to my makeup routine and it's been a game changer for me. After a light moisturizer and a mattifying primer, i apply a THIN layer of setting powder, and then a good setting spray (i'm currently loving the UD De-slick for this step...) Robert Welsh explains that putting the setting spray on BEFORE you apply the foundation creates a barrier that slows the natural oils from coming through and breaking down your makeup. He explains this incredibly well in his video How To Prep Oily Skin For Makeup. Thanks for another great video! ❤

As a flight attendant, when I'm on the go, I use my Cinema Secrets brush cleaner to clean my masks. It takes off all the makeup and is antibacterial. I will then wash them (obviously) with soap and water and then use an iron (on full blast) to further disinfect them.

Great review!! Ive been getting maskne too. I find the korean acne patches help a lot- oh k! Sos acne patches. Theyre nearly invisible so i wear it during the day under my mask.

I tried dotting the foundation around the face and then blending, but I think it’s better if you use small amounts and take it from the back of your hand or a palette. It’s looks much smoother that was for me. The less you start off with the better and I do think the brush they recommend isn’t the greatest with the formula. It made it patchy for me.

I think as long as the foundation isn't matte I don't think it's usually the foundations fault.Try using your sponge and really focus on pressing the foundation into your skin and also try spraying your nose area with a hydrating setting spray and press that it. I hope that helps😊😊😊 But if you are looking for a new foundation try the Covergirl and olay advance radiance foundation it's super hydrating and its never breaks up on my nose even though my skin is super dry.

Im guessing your foundation breaks up because you’re oily?? (I don’t personally know anyone with dry skin that foundation breaks up on) I’m VERY OILY and the L’Oréal infallible freshwear 24hr, is my favorite!! It would crease in my forehead lines and smile lines if I didn’t powder (but I need powder because of how oily I am) but it doesn’t break up on my skin at all. Not until the 15-16hr mark

Try to cover up those blemishes with a pimple patch to save it from further rubbing by the mask. This can be so irritating for sensitive skin. I have good results using the ceramide creme from cosrx. It really helped my skin and I have to watear a mask the whole day at work.
