Tbh I like that they listen to the community and finally give us the Recurve bows that we wanted. I think this will be my favorite hunting game soon especially when they add more maps and quality of life updates. As a real hunter I just think this looks like soon it will be a more realistic version of call of the wild which I appreciate. I think I will always like the angler more though.

As an IRL hunter I agree with you. CotW is a good game but reminds me of the arcade hunting games from when I was a kid. WotH is as close to reap life hunting I've found in a video game. Only thing CotW has on WotH is the waterfowl hunting

I say it every time but THQ needs to get the terminal ballistics for this game right It's the most immersion breaking thing seeing bison and cape buffalo fold like a 5 dollar tent from lung shots with bows

Unfortunately thats kinda how it is in call of the wild bows are also very op. But still they are harder to sneak up on without a caller atleast. But still the .338 is my favorite gun for them sometimes drop when under 150 which is decently accurate. Ive seen a bison get destroyed by two 300 shots in seconds in a video from alaska.

@@greatwarriorstruggler9447 Thats the thing literally sometimes you shoot a warthog with a 338 and it dosen't die instantly? like wtf, I think the tier 6 are way too tanky against smaller tier 6 guns but they fold up against a bow it really is kinda weird.

The wind in woth is always blowing some insane speed. makes bow hunting without hunter sense (which i would prefer to do) exceedingly difficult.

Don't quote me but I did some testing, and I believe it's because you are using the imperial system and not metric units. Since the games main devs use Meters. I believe the markers are used for meters and 100 yards to meters is like 91 or something. That's also why you get strange numbers for zeroing in yards vs meters in the game.
