Tuned M838T in 570S is asking for it to blow up. Valves will crack and throw engine out of time. Test for nickel in the oil to see if they are already degrading. 991.1 GT3 has finger follower issue and is known to blow up (E and F series engine codes). The G-series code engine in these cars are known to be pretty bulletproof, but anything else is asking for problems. FF's Getrag transmission needs to be rebuilt after ~10y, as it will fail. Hollywood Mechanic offers a rebuild kit and services, it will run you like $15-20k to rebuild. Other than that, FF is a great choice - you need to factor this into the price of the car though, it is an inevitable expense. R8 is obviously the most reliable of the cars you're looking at. I would also look at a 718 GT4 as it is a smaller car and it is very reliable.

My 570S with a stage 2 tune feels faster than my 1200hp R35 GTR… it’s the best move by FAR, good call telling him to consider a 570S. They are amazing platforms, especially if you drive it often and keep it on a trickle charger, you’ll have no issues. Stick to M Engineering for the tune.

If you want a Porsche keep the one you got and go crazy with mods it will be just as good as that one you looked at. But I would keep the Porsche and buy the McLaren and I would chop that Porsche up into the car I want regardless of what a purist thinks. And while I'm building it I would have fun with the McLaren that just what I would do.
