Nice video. The last Bluetti I had - had a crazy WiFi protocol, which pretty much let anyone connect to it. So, just anyone in the next tent can accidently turn off your Bluetti, which is powering a portable heater in the mid of the winter. It had zero security. I wonder if the newer version is any better.

Does PV Priority still cause the battery to discharge or does it skip using the battery when its full to power devices to reduce battery cycles?

Bluetti knocked this one out of the park. They got rid of the touch screen for a much easier to read display. You can use an app to control it so no need for the power robbing touch screen. The biggest improvement is the UPS function and getting rid of the power brick. This looks to best Bluetti yet and a 5 year warranty to boot.

If you are using it as UPS, how can you not keep the battery at 100%?

Some manufacturers give you the option to set the charge levels, I’m not sure if Bluetti has this option on their new app. Otherwise I’m not sure

You can set min and max charge levels. So 30 - 80 would be what some people use to never go below 30% and only charge up to a max of 80%.

Great video. Thank you for producing it. This will definitely help me in my decision on which power station to buy. Your video and others have stated that you can charge this unit by; AC grid power, DC batteries, Solar and through the car charging. Can you charge off of a generator and in particular an old style generator without a pure sine inverter?

@@theMekanik Thanks. I have done a lot of debating between these two units. I like the Bluetti for having add-on batteries that have more features, but I think the Delta 2 Max is a better fir for me. It is lighter, smaller, has 2 MPPT controllers, the usb-c works better, more USB ports, and I already have an EcoFlow, so I can use the same app. It was a close race though.

Dual Voltage 120/240 In put & Dual Mppt 500 volts input would be great….. I kan easily push 1200 Watts into it also grid tie funktionality would be awesome I kan run my whole 1600sqft house off 2400 watts inkluding charging my EV and running the 4.5 cuft Washer / Dryer ……

Supposed to not be good for LFP to store at 100% long term. I've always heard that throughout my learnings, you hear different?

Bluetti says no more than 80% for long term storage. You definitely don’t want to keep the battery maxed out for long term. Same with 0%.

Too bad Bluetti has basically no warranty or support of any kind in Canada. Had an issue with my AC200p after one year of ownership and had 5 years of warranty and was told "Bluetti and Maxoak are no longer in business together so we can't help you".
