I cut a Black Locust tree down on my yard and made the bed from it...Locust is rot resistant...unlike oak.

Next time u have to do a job like this I suggest u try using a hole tru ratchet which will be perfect for those long bolts to help u speed up ur work n keep u from using a wrench to tighten those nuts with long bolts,even a ratchet wrench would work great for this job.
