how do sizes compare against alpinestars? I generally use M on their jackets, which is the only brand I own right now, but man belstaff lately is on fireeee

Too long for a mesh jacket. The collar goes too high. The wrong style for me. Too expensive for a mesh jacket. I still have the original mesh jacket which was a Belstaff. Bought from Infinity in Holborn in 2004 for 100 pounds.
